I get the Islanders do not have players they can use to change this entire series around, but I still would make more lineup changes and especially when you cannot beat this Canes team. Switch up the lines and d pairs at least.

This is my point. Put Ishakov on the 1st line. Holmstrom should be playing as well. If you are going to lose anyway to this team again, go down trying different things.

For the life of me I’ll never understand this clubs obsession with starting scorers or non physical or defensive players on the fourth line. If the expectations are for them to thrive and prove themselves to move up the lineup good job setting the kid up for failure. It’s moronic. God forbid they take Fasching out of the top 6 it may upset that offensive powerhouse we’ve witnessed all series.

Fasching has at least played with the guys on the 4th line and if there’s anything Nelson and Palmieri could use, it’s Iskhakov’s speed. What the (frank) do I know though.

We’re gonna get shutout. 2-0 with an empty netter for them. Prove me wrong!
