They'll probably rebuild around Matthews. Marner on the other hand only has one year left on his deal. Not a position of strength for the Leafs but I'll offer Rosen and a 3rd

I wouldn't touch Marner with a ten foot pole. We're clamoring for guys that actually play with some heart on our team and the last guy I would EVER trade for would be Mitch (frank)ing Marner. Guy is literally afraid to go into the corners.

Yeah, they would have lost in regulation if it wasn't for Levi. It's funny too bc Amerks fans are talking about him blowing leads, despite getting outshot, out chanced and outperformed in every facet of the game.

That'd be a decent way to save a few bucks on the d-core. He is slow, but so is Sammy, so not sure it's a big net loss either way. What have you thought of Ostlund and Wahlberg?
