I really don't know anything about him, but when I heard he's a big dude and a good skater that lacks hockey sense I immediately thought of Myers. - Phillywhiteout
ive watched him quite a bit, i wouldnt say he is a meyers, hes a good player, but dont want the flyers grabbing him

This current Bruins/Laffs series kind of reminds me of the 2000 ECF with the Devils/Flyers. Flyers went up 3-1 in the series and didn't show up ready to play in game 5. Lost the momentum and never got it back. Wake up Broooooooins! Either team will prolly get smoked by the rested Cats...at least I hope so! - Phillywhiteout
The Bruins glaring weakness is at center. Coyle and Zacha are excellent 3Cs. The last time Coyle had 50 points before this year was when he was with Minnesota. Zacha never hit 50 until he got to Boston. I guess they could work as as 2C and 3C. Nobody is having a long run without a 1C.

Shame there isn’t a “culture” award - funmaster18
“Really enjoyed the locker room,” Johnson said. “One of the best I’ve been in in my career. I’m not just saying that to blow smoke. I really enjoyed all those guys and the staff and living in Philly, just everything. I was welcomed with open arms. I really care about those guys, and it was a lot of fun for me.”
Look for Erik Johnson to be resigned instead of retiring because the Flyers feel he's "good in the locker room".

he is begging for a contract!! this is the type of publicity the flyers promote. They lap it up.
He is like I know they hire former players after they are done for cushy jobs. I want mine |

I would bet that if anyone else listened to the post game, they would not characterize it was Montgomery calling out Pasternak. Pasternak has played 83 playoff games and has scored 37 goals and 46 assists for 83 points. That's a point per game pace. I personally watched Flyers games down the stretch where Konecny was not a factor in the games. - MJL
And you would lose that bet .. go watch the post game yourself, I posted the link previously. Just admit you were wrong and I was right ... everyone knows it. |

I will personally punch Danny in the balls. And I gave him a B+ for his first year. |

Matthews is not only an elite goal scorer but he is also one of the best two way forwards in the NHL. His play away from the puck in coverage is very strong. - MJL
This is not a knock on Matthews, he is the best goal scorer in the game right now. I'm saying it's interesting to see how the Leafs are handling Matthews being out of the lineup and how it has actually helped them in this series because now they are playing a different brand of hockey, one more suited for playoff hockey. |

Its a fact he was drafted way too high, never saw him play against tough opposition. Ronnie outsmarted himself - bradster
That is a fact, for sure. Ronnie took a real gamble, but it was a weak draft that year so perhaps a gamble worthwhile. |

Buddy, TK doesn’t hold a candle to these elite players you’re comparing him to. It’s why the Flyers need to trade him. His contract will be a noose around the teams neck. |

They should totally trade for Coots. STOP! Don’t bad mouth him. Boston needs the guy! |

Shows up every shift of every game. Lol - MJL
TK was obviously hurt down the stretch and was in the lineup fighting through it, something I know Pasta would never do. |

That is actually an apt description of his time in Minnesota. I think he’s a better player now with the Bergeron influence. But consistency is a challenge for him.

He has his reasons. And no doubt he should have been in the conversation for a while. But in the end he made too many missteps and the team faltered because of them
