Sabres trading their first sounds good, but who is trading an established player for the pick? It seems like a little out of the ordinary for the NHL right now. The Detroits Ottawas of the league that were tanking around the time the Sabres were either got good or are in the Sabres spot of trying to be good and the teams that were good haven’t fallen off yet. I don’t see many options for teams that want the picks and have a player that you would hope the Sabres could get. Utah probably the best option. Keller and Crouse. They made Keller the face at the intro to Utah, buts not like he’s Crosby. Keller and Crouse for 11 and Tage

Trading the 11th overall for a 3rd line Center doesn't move the needle enough, especially when they can get that 3C without trading the 11th overall.
