After being away from here for a bit, I see I am living rent free.

My Mom and some of my family and friends are Leafs fans. I have to be compassionate to the ones that matter. After all it's my Mother that taught me never to cheer for the Leafs.

I don’t have any emotional attachment to Leafs or Core 4. I like watching the Leafs play after Wings and before any other team - but I certainly don’t and won’t lose sleep over the Leafs getting bounced.

Family and friends are a bit frustrated - but not like so crack and burn down the City type of frustrated.

Always the same boring stuff from Canucks fans eh - Leafs haven’t won cup since 67, it’s been 57 years blah blah. Cool man! And the Canucks have never won a Cup since they’ve been in the league. It’s been 54 years with no Cup…I keep saying the same thing back to same chirps that you folks think matter.

Canucks fans are so pleased with consolation “Everyone gets a trophy” type stuff. Leafs have a bunch of consolations too since their last Cup. Division titles, second rounds throughout Mats Sundin (best Canuck ever in history by the way or Messier), inference finals where they lost to Carolina, and more…but Leafs fans don’t give a poop. They want a Cup. It’s like a Silver Medal to Team Canada - if it’s not Gold it’s nothing.

Just a different way of thinking that I think History (original 6) and multiple Cups in Teams History instilled. That’s why Leafs fans are so tormented now. Expectation of Cup or bust - regular season success and loosing playoffs is the biggest piss off for them.

Canucks fans chirps do piss all man - different mentality.

It is pretty sad that the Leafs have never made it out of the 3rd round in their over 100 year existence you have to admit. That's a whole level of bad that the Canucks don't share with the Leafs.

- relevancy
- Stanley Cups in history or their franchise
- fans that will smoke crack and burn a city for loosing
- fans that care more about other teams losses than their own teams success

The official word has landed from the NHL: the Vancouver Canucks vs. Edmonton Oilers Pacific Division final series will begin Wednesday at Rogers Arena.

Sources had originally suggested the series would start Tuesday, but with the Dallas Stars’ home rink, American Airlines Arena, not available Wednesday night because of a concert, the Stars vs. Colorado Avalanche Central Division final will start Tuesday.
