I think you're paying too much for Kadri. Based on age and contract. - TheSabresTaco
Seems to be the common thought.
How about 11OA straight up? |

5x5 for a guy who scored 75pts last year seemed like a great deal to me. - QuinnFan
Paying him till he's 39 seems like a bad idea. How many LTC's do we need on the books.. |

Why ? Hasn't his name been brought up here from some. - Buff36
They've talked about laughton. Seems like he could be a fit. Cates looks like a 4th liner to me, I am unfamiliar tho. |

Sam Reinhart was traded for a no name prospect and a very late first.
(frank)ing imagine using PICK 11 on Scott (frank)ing Laughton. |

I would do #11 for Kadri if they retained $2m
#11 for Kadri is exactly what we want - if it was a mid-1st, Kadri was 2 years younger or made $2m less.
It is a good compromise for both teams. |

With a 4.5M cap, I consider.
His playstyle and length of contract have a poor track record. |

Will admit, the final year or two might be rougher but you're basically paying prospects for bonafide scoring and added grit. Personally, he's the exact TYPE of player we want. I'd take those couple of years of lower production at $5M to try and make waves next season. |

Give Domi some Term if he doesn't stay in TO. Should cost less than 5 million. Playmaker with Grit on the 3rd line to play with Skinner. |

His name was brought up because some people don't see much value in him. It was also brought up because that stupid fan account on twitter repeated Friedman saying how the "Flyers wanted a Samuelsson type" and in the same broadcast, mentioned the Sabres using pick 11 to center around a trade for Scott Laughton, or some happy horsepoop, which is utter garbage.
1. Kevyn loves Samuelsson
2. The Sabres perceive their top 4 of D, B, P and S. Everyone else is on the table.
3. He brings an element the Sabres don't have enough of and they want to keep it. If other teams "want a Samuelsson type", so does Buffalo.
4. Trading him for a random pick and a bottom 6 forward is simply not going to happen. - TheSabresTaco
People want a Bottom 6 forward, and you are dealing from a Strength. And Adams can say what he wants about Samuelsson. Until he can stay Healthy he doesn't do enough. |

Think Domi would ever sign in Buffalo? I don't mind him as an option but he did also call one of his away games here as the best atmosphere all year. Not sure he's a big fan of us.
He is a free asset, which I like, but probably around $4M to get him here for a few years. Not sure that I wouldn't pay the extra $1M for Kadri, he's a lot better IMO. |

Domi is just a trolll. Anyway, I think that comment reflected more poorly on the crowd in Toronto. Unintentionally ragged on his home fans |
