Very talented group that had a # of players join just for playoffs. Half of their D were rookies in the playoffs. Kulich and the top players didn't show up is what really killed them.

The team finished the season 13-2-1 to tie for first in the North.

This guy never made it past round 2 as a coach in the AHL.

Not sure why anyone is concerned with the Appert promotion. He was promising his first full year with JJ and Quinn. He took a bunch of rookies last year to the conference finals in Roch for the first time since 2004. Fell short to an experienced Crunch team who played their in-betweeners, while Appert left his at home to play the guys that will actually have a shot to land on this team/in the NHL.

I get not being happy about MFE and Wilford. That isn't on Lindy or Appert though.

I think we all expected Lindy to bring in at least a couple of "names", and I'm disappointed on that front.

But, I'm fine with Appert. I mean, let's face it, if companies didn't promote from within, no one would work for them. And thank the good lord that Ellis/(Granato) is done w the PP. I liked Lindy's answer today when asked about the PP. He understands why it wasn't very good and how teams are defending now.

what does this have to do with the sabres either bringing people back or promoting from within on a regular basis and continuing to have the longest playoff draught in professional sports history?


the head coach with over 30 years experience behind the bench is brought back to fix it and he does not have his guys, he has guys that fail from the previous coach and the ahl coach that is meh

They have stated they may bring in more(whatever more means Im not sure), just not at this time.

Hopefully they find MFE a job in concession and Lindy gets to bring in 1 other guy. They had 3 Asst. behind the bench last year. Currently they have 2 since Ellis is in the doghouse
