Idk why okposo gets a pass here. He is the one who publicly sidestepped blame for this drought cried about the fans and now can't seem to keep his mouth shut (frank) him.
He got to go where he wanted hes on a cup run just shut the (frank) up already. He sucked here was played way above his ability and never took any blame for how things went this season. He was never a good captain. Every chance he ever had he never accepted responsibility
Hes a loser - ieetbred
I never understood the whole turnaround where this fanbase decided that Kyle Okposo was this guy we all needed to root for.
He was the worst/second worst UFA signing in team history and is constantly talked about as why you don’t spend big in UFA.
Guy made 50 million here and did jack poop.

11. Buffalo Sabres: Berkly Catton, C, Spokane-WHL
I feel a little off projecting another small forward being picked by the Sabres this high, but they’ve shown no hesitancy to draft smaller players, especially when they are super talented. Catton has every tool except size. I could see Helenius or Iginla as an option here as well.
I hear the groans
From THW
He’s been excellent as a center despite his size so far, winning a ton of faceoffs and checking really consistently as a top-line pivot for the past two seasons. Catton works hard defensively and wins a ton of puck battles through timing and consistency rather than pure size or strength so I think he’s got a real chance to be a center in the NHL when all is said and done.
Catton has been a major offensive leader for the Spokane Chiefs for the past two seasons, and is even one of the top players in the WHL so far this season. Be prepared to hear a lot of Zach Benson comparisons in the lead up to the drafts they’re both undersized WHL forwards with a ton of offense in their draft years. I like Benson’s compete level and hockey sense quite a bit more than Catton’s and I’d offer Logan Cooley as a more comparable prospect, at least as a draft year prospect. |

yup, you’re looking at somewhere in between a decade and the rest of your life. Probably - Hatboro_Swords
Adams has been the GM going into his 5th year.
Year 1: get rid of Eichel Risto Reinhart and let a couple kids play
Year 2: locker room more “stable” ( so we thought) let even more kids play
Year 3: miss playoffs by 1 point
Year 4: Donny meatballs regression |

That'd be a nice pick. I'd take any of the top forwards not named Cayden Lindstrom.

WGR hating the mvs signing. Ever since WGR spent all that time on the WR train and draft party and beane traded out. Beane is now a bad GM
Curtis Samuel
Coleman
Shakir
MVS
Mack hollins (special teams)
Claypool and a bunch of others fight it out for the last slot
That’s a good WR room. Not elite unless Coleman is a stud from day 1. |

Apples to Apples, Girgensons 1st was not as good as Benson's 1st.
Benson scored 33% more while playing 1:15 ATOI less.
That's reality.

4th line girgens looked better his first 2 seasons than benson
but we can't be realists around here - homiedclown
Girgensons first season was entirely in Rochester, where he had nearly half as many points as Benson did in the NHL.
Girgensons 2nd season was in the NHL, where he had less points then Benson did as an 18 year old rookie fresh off being drafted.
So you're saying Girgensons 3rd pro season looked better then Benson's 1st pro season? |
