No idea the degree or frequency you watch Sabres games, but Benson was embracing his inner Marchand the 2nd half of the season, being a rodent like pest many, many times.

That is an excellent, underrated bit of his progress that will help going forward.

Feels like they have 5 guys slated as 3LW. Benson is one of them. Still a big question of how this fits together under Lindy and what they do this summer. The plan was not Skinner sliding down to 3LW this year. That was clearly planned for these kids.

That said, I don't see Kevy acquiring a Top 4 Dman unless they trade Sammy. With him and Johnson (fully ready for Top 4 in another season) in the fold, I think they believe they have that covered... And I don't necessarily disagree.
