Has everyone seen the new different angle video of the Bennet uppercut to the jaw of Marchy? Where's the dude saying it was Marchy's fault/momentum?

Trying on some new team-colored blinders I guess.

Bennett got away with one. No doubt. But it's going to happen in the playoffs. Refs see marchand go down and I'm sure his reputation is a factor in the no call. It sucks but stuff like this gets missed every year.

Never said it wasn't warranted. Just saying you're usually the most critical is all. Even when they win.

And yes, they did just that. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Surprise surprise. Where have we seen this story before?

I'm not the one you're mad at.

- dothedougie

Of course I'm frustrated with the team - even though before the season started I knew the Bruins were going nowhere with Zacha and Coyle as their 1 and 2 Cs.

But I also felt your follow up post was unwarranted so there is that.

Fair enough. I'll mind my business on your posts. I know you just want to see the team succeed. Hands in the air here.

But it wasn't exactly nowhere. Not a cup I'll give you that, but also not a lottery pick as nowhere often suggests. They are being bested by a better team,.and quite frankly better coaching. Cats want it more.

They lost by one tonight. Without Swayman it would have been another blowout.

Swayman is gettingvzero support. Panthers had 42 shots and TV analysts commented this is 3rd playoff game in a row where Bruins had less than 20 shots. The 6 penalties did not help there.

Off season #1 priority HAS to be a 1C. Aside from a few wingers stepping in here or there, our main 4 Cs ALL are under 50% at face-offs. That has to change.

Karma for the rat, its what hes done his entire career and getting away with it. And then there is the bruin mainstay position: the refs are the problem. Just a bunch if whiners, pathetic.

As a neutral observer I think the Bruins got robbed on the Bennett goal.
A cross check from behind knocking Coyle into Swayman. A very bad non call.
The refs really have been terrible in this series.

The amount of whining about it from the team, media, and fans is as puke inducing as it embarrassing though. Bobrovsky has basically been given a bye for this round and is not being tested.

It's nice what the Bruins have done to make it this far and for the regular season but this is the end of the line. They're only team left in the post season that is truly incomplete.

No top 6 centers
No top pairing defenseman
Weak on top 6 wings

It's the reality and there is a lot work to be done to get this team back to being a legitimate contender.

Speaking of reality... whether it is Boston or Florida either team is going to be eviscerated by New York. I can't believe how they've just dismantled Carolina.

Screaming about Karma is for pussies. Which is what you've revealed yourself to be. A total wussy.

Yeah it's bad. But that's NHL. It's one of the things that makes it a bush league. If the Bruins where legit they would've found a way to even the series. But they're not and they didn't.

Maybe also pay Swayman his money. I can't imagine they won't be in on every center. I expect an overpay for one

Agree whole heartedly with everything--
Apart from the Rangers dismantling Carolina. All those games have been very competitive and tight and have hinged on a bounce or a finish or a save here and there. Think Florida and NYR will be a great series

even with that, if DeBrusk doesnt miss the net, they win that game, and we're tied. Seen enough of him wearing Black and Gold. Rags are gonna steamroll Panthers assuming they close this out.

Sure some hyperbole there but didn't expect them to be up 3-1 or that a sweep would be on the table. Everything seems to be going their way at the moment. But we've seen how quickly that changes. They still have to get that 4th W.

Hopefully the B's can force a game 6. I'm not giving up but the deficiencies have been exposed in both series now.

Not giving up either but also being realistic. The Bruins are showing themselves to be what most of us thought they were at the beginning of the season...a bubble team. They punched WAY above their weight class for the majority of the season (mostly thanks to goaltending) and really raised our collective hopes.

Again, not giving up yet but am looking forward to the improvements ~$25M or more can bring.

And the only real issue I have with moves Sweeney has made since last season's trade deadline (including those moves) and now is not moving Gryz at this season's deadline. No way they can keep him (at least they better not) and he is going somewhere else without getting a thing in return...heck even a 3rd or 4th round pick would have been something.
