Avs just got hit with some unfortunate news as well. Seems Nichushkin is going to be away again for a while. Poor timing.

But I also agree that Dallas has been playing some good hockey all year. Underrated drafting pool too. They have done a great job getting some pieces through the draft and supporting them with trades and free agents. Well built organization.

It "happened" because Bennett didn't just "put his hands up" - he punched Marchand in the jaw with a gloved fist - which is NOT legal. It actually is a cheap shot.
