I remember a lot of burritos from ETS that I know know were total wypipo food. You can throw mighty taco in that category too. I would be embarrassed to feed a Mexican any of that. It’s worse than bringing an Italian to Olive Garden. Is ETS still open?

Well it's nice to talk about all these players and hoping Adams does some magic. But really not excited about the offseason, he missed his Bat Signal like 6 times over the last couple years. So I will be highly surprised if he does anything intriguing.

Manito up in Wright’s Corners is THE most authentic Mexican place in WNY. Pickled condiment bar and everything.
- Jet Jaguar BD

Never heard of that place. Mexican food wise it can’t be that great.

The very very best authentic Mexican is:

La Galera or el cubilete in Niagara Falls.

ETS is only a thing because it’s near Cole’s and good bar for drunk food and open late.

ETS in general is trash.

Two years ago, when all three players on the top line had career seasons, continues to be an even bigger, bitter disappointment compared to what it was as that season was ending.

They could've made a real push to make the playoffs.

Instead, they slow played it.

Major, major (frank) up.

Ya, he has a very hard time closing deals IMO. I'll be surprised if he trades for a L1 winger, and don't suspect he'll sign a top FA either. Next offseason will be even harder to maneuver within the Cap given extensions required, unless Skinner agrees to a trade (I don't see a BO happening until his last season is upon them).

Which leads me to the Draft, 11 in a trade isn't getting you one either, unless significant assets are included as well. Kevyn has shown no ability to get that type of trade done, so low probability of that happening, Imo. Therefore, if he's available, I take Eiserman at 11 and get himto focus on consistency and more 2 way play to augment his finishing...he's the only one I see at 11 who has the potential (with work) to be a L1 player.

Dumb A$$ slow played it and we still don't know what we have and if they fit needed areas. Horrible GM job and No one on this site should disagree. I just hope he didn't wait to Long and the Merry Go Round starts again.

Well if the right trade is Available 11 is gone. If he really wants to get L1 Player, then go get him. They have the resources to do it, move up and go get Lindstrom.

Sabremetrix is a good Twitter follow, but he had multiple posts this season claiming the performance of the core this season is why they shouldn't have been invested in last season.

I could not possibly vehemently disagree with that more.

Getting the core proper quality veteran support would've helped and will help immensely.

Rising tide lifts all boats.

The model to follow has to be Dallas, as the Stars don't have an abundance of superstars, and neither do the Sabres, but the Stars make it work with top quality up and down the lineup.

They may never win a cup with their current group, but it doesn't make their approach incorrect.

I think the mode has to be one they create

I do not think i have ever seen a roster with 3 young d men, 2 picked first overall and the third picked 4th overall

Wyatt Johnson is approaching super star status. Heiskanen is probably a top 10 d-man in the sport and Robertson is probably a top 15 if not top 20 winger in the sport.

You sure about that ? Haven’t even started talking about Hintz, Harley, Stankoven

That just makes the Sabres situation even worse.

Overall, without the vast veteran support they have, do any of those players produce like they do now?

Doubtful.

Sure, if the right trade comes up. It best be for a bonafide top 6 player.

I like Lindstroms profile myself, no doubt, I don't see him available at 11 thougĥ.

Hintz and Pavelski had combined for 1 point in Dallas’ first 8 playoff games.

The kids are the only reason the Stars veterans are getting bullied like the Leafs core 4 right now
