- Bonus Pt: Next season his contract becomes more difficult to absorb and limits their ability to upgrade in other areas.

Skinner would clear waivers. Think that's always a fair reality check of someone's contract value.

I do not expect benson to be a 50 point player in either 24-25 or 25-26

I think he's got 40 easy but I need to see what the roster looks like first, and his role within it. If he's banned from the powerplay, 50 could be tough.

Benson had a ~53 xgf% this year and was probably the best option you could have had as a 3rd line winger this season without even considering his age

he will fit right in here though

his production from late december to early march was on par with an orange pylon (2 goals and 3 assists in 30 games)

maybe if he scored 1 or 2 points in Jan, we could have had a few post season games
