hope he puts up 40 and you can move him next summer
a buyout IMO cripples this team and cap is not an issue for this coming season - homiedclown
I hope you're right. That would really be a boon for us, even if we kept him at that point. He's been streaky since he came into the league, so I wouldn't be super surprised and, you're right, we certainly don't need the money right now. |

You think Utah will trade the best player in the league to us?
Sorry Tooth, I had to. |

Instantly adding a record breaking player to their new franchise... how could they pass that up

See I think that was the beginning of the true incompetence.
The WPG trade for Kane was also just awful. Kane was a terrible human, and I think he made the Pegula's second guess what an actual NHL GM was supposed to do - sbroads24
The Kane trade helped secure Eichel though.
Not trading Risto for Ehlers is what sent this baby into a tail spin |

Skinner plays 3LW. Hasnt been a top six player since 2023 - DirtyDan
Seemed to start and play Top 6 most of 23 -24, maybe the last 2 months. So who are you replacing his goals with. |

Soon he will be forgotten for the steal of the draft at 11.
Then the Sabres prayers are answered |

Buying him out should be last on the list and only if Adams hit a few homeruns in the Offseason. |

If Gerbe is saying he's gone this early, that means trade to me.

Will see, he's actually owed more in Salary this coming year than his Cap hit. |

I was never a Donnie fan, but you're putting too many GM problems on him. - Lunaion
And things people b¡tch about with all coaches, like the lines, and playing vets over young guys; I bet if you go back in the archives you'll see most people b¡tching about Lindy's choice of lines when he was here, I definitely remember b¡tching about playing Grigorenko with John Scott |

He's a good coach, something this team has lacked, since, well, he was here. |

Yup, nothing easier to complain about than lines and the goalie.

What did Donnie do to assure you he should be the coach of the team this season ?
What did he do to survive as long as he did considering there was what, 5 coaches that had longer tenure left standing when he was let go ?
I’ll hang up and listen |

Why on Earth would you ask me this? I was against Donnie from day 1. Just don't think that lets the GM off the hook. |

Power ranking who I want Adams to get:
Cirelli from Tampa (cap issues)
Necas ( apparently wants out?)

Haven't looked. Don't really want to guess who he'd waive for.
Have to think they'd either retain or take back some bad money.

I don’t think anyone is letting the GM off the hook.
Adams’s rope is firmly around his neck at this point. But Lindy > Donnie should go a long way in solving a majority of the teams issues from last year |
