I won't, but will say I yelled at Bader the other day for having us outside the top10. His model pisses me off lol. - QuinnFan

kevyn doesn't lie, and one thing he's said forever is that he wants stability in the short and long term. so here we are. can agree with his process or not.
he also stated and opened the door pretty wide that trading young assets/picks is absolutely on the table. which is something most people here are in favor of. - TheSabresTaco
I am curious to see the value in returns on prospects vs picks. |

would you offer up pick 11 for any sabres prospect not named savoie?
doubt any team would |

Not to me, but rankings vary.
Probably none IMO. Think we have a number of guys who could end up pushing for top line duties, but there's very few sure fire all stars drafted outside the top3 anymore. |

Were they to keep the pick and make the selection, that prospect would also jump to #2 in the pipeline also all things considered.
It’s all relative.

Probably around there, you're basically just pressing fast forward then. I know this isn't what we're hoping for, but getting middle6 forwards at 20 is good business. Looking historically in the 20s, lots of depth guys and quite a few more busts. Any of the big 4 forwards would be a much safer bet. |

pretty sure rosen is not going in the first round in a redraft
poitras, picked late in the 2nd round of 2022 looks to be miles ahead of kulich and ostlund
at some point many of these "great" prospects we have are going to either be fringe nhl players or career ahl guys

Which is hilarious.
Jiri Kulich
Get's drafted 28th - Hmm seems like a steal at that spot
After year 1 in the AHL - Holy hell this guy is a stud - completely untouchable
Middle of DY+2 - I think hes bored in the AHL
End of year 2 - He's maybe an NHL'er next year, the 11th overall pick will automatically be considered a better prospect.
Rinse. Repeat. With every good prospect ever.
Trade them when they are in the bolded phase

The 11th OA pick isn’t an indictment of Kulich as a prospect ?
Kulich probably should have been an NHL’er this past season but there are only so many spots.
Send Skinner to the moon and Kulich is a regular in the lineup this year |

Same. Will use consensus org rankings of prospects and compare it to history of traded prospects and their ranks at the time. Should be an interesting process.

They don't all have to turn into NHL players. They just have to hit on a few, trade a few, and hope they made the right choices in the ones they kept. |
