A Cup win take everything:
- Health
- Goaltender playing very good stealing a few along the way
- String Defence
- Special Teams rolling
- Stars being Stars
- Contribution from all lines/pairings (offence/defence/physicality)
- A bit if puck luck

The way to give your team the best shot at all those things:

- a legit starter
- stars that can play when time space get limited and physical pick begins
- a good roster construction
- quality coaching
- a bit of luck

Leafs have not had all that or even close to most of that all at one time during runs over last 8 years.

The Cup is the hardest trophy in sorts to win for a reason. It takes a machine. A well oiled resilient machine. Or…

I think we should just let the robots run things for a while.

Pulock is 29 but would be helpful as second paired right handed defenseman. Maybe a Robertson or Liljegren gets that one done.
