I disagree that every team in the playoffs tries to take out another team’s player. Just goes to show his mentality. Hard hockey, yes. Purpously take out another team’s player, no way. |

EDIT: But if a guy is out there being a rat and officials and the league are going to give license to it. Then the son of female dog should be looking for his (frank)ing teeth before the zamboni sweeps them up. Yes, that goes for Marchand too just to appease you female genitalias from other fanbases. - glove_was_stuck
The game has no place for players who take out snd injure other players on purpose |

Easy to post something nice. They just signed Berube to coach so that is going to be a much harder team to play against next season. |

Always appreciate his honestly but...Maybe if his focus was squarely on making hockey plays and scoring goals instead of trying to take guys out of the game (and making himself a target by doing so) the B's may have moved on. |

Would not have made a difference. Bruins have too many holes left over from previous season.
Not gonna go far without a 1C or even a 2C. Swayman was the only reason they made it to 2nd round.

I'm on page 8 saying it was a good hire and they will be a tough team to play against. No one responded so oh well.
I do honestly think that's a good hire for them leafs and they will have some changes coming. |

So what is the consensus on Debrusk? I say if he can be had at $5M per or less, he should be resigned. Guess he played with a broken hand since just before the all-star break that wasn't fully healed until the end of the season. A down season this year but good post season numbers. The area that has significantly improved is the rest of his game when the offense isn't working. In the past his entire game would suffer when his offense was in a slump. He was a big contributor on the PK. |

I think they should keep him. For a team that is short on skill, letting him walk seems counter productive. Debrusk was one of the better all around forwards this year even if the stats didn't tell that story.
The stats aren't there because they used JVR on the powerplay for a better part of the year. He honestly kind of reminds me of Blake Wheeler and around this age was when Blake really found his game.
If it is around $5. Keep him.

5 or under, sure. Anything over he can walk. Although I have a sneaky suspicion he is testing the market so he might go anyway.

I think they should keep him for under 5mil as well. Be nice to trade Ulmark for some good forward talent. Loved what Ullmark and Sway had as a tandem, but we need to address the holes we have. Good goalies are a premium these days. |

That's admirable to say. It's not reality. It happens year in and year out in every single league.

Agree with the other comments. If they can keep him at reasonable AAV then yeah, the Bruins are weak at wings in addition to center. I don't think he'll ever be as consistent as some folks want him to be points wise but his overall game was the best its been so far this season. I liked a lot of what he brought this season away from the puck which is something his detractors either miss or don't pay attention to at all.
They cannot go into this offseason planning that Lysell, Merkulov, Kuntar, Brunet and even Poitras will push. They need to build a roster hoping they will.
If you could get him on a 1 year vet minimum keep Maroon
Resign Heinen
Trade Ullmark
Seek to trade Lindholm
JVR Gone
Gryz Gone
Forbort Gone
Shattenkirk Gone
Top priority is Swayman's deal then a 1C
and by 1C that IS NOT Steven Stamkos. Need to go younger. Stamkos also didn't play a ton of center this season. |

Agree with everything except Maroon. See ya later. The 4th line needs to have a higher motor and his motor has a bad back.
Also Lindholm has a full NMC, NTC for the next three years so he isn't going anywhere.

If Carolina can't resign Martin Necas. Bruins should be involved. |

If they could somehow land Necas, then let DeBrusk walk. Immediate upgrade. |
