How many games will each player will miss due to injuries?

As for trade, I am afraid the cost will be too high, not sure HuGo will want to pay the big sticker price for an RFA will would most likely get 2nd or 3rd line minutes

I am expecting the unexpected.

I think it would be easier to guess total games lost than a player by player basis, given how few will play all 82 games.



I just hope we do not lose a key player in game 2 of the season for the rest of the year. I really want to see what this current group can do together. Also, next year (25/26) contracts will be gone (and maybe the glut on defense resolved) and new opportunities for more youth. I expect a number of prospects to play 1 year in Laval together and then make the jump.

If he proves me wrong I’ll be happy but I don’t think we can include him in any core projections.

I honestlly think this is why he was traded away too. They definitely needed picks, but Dach was young enough that he could have been part of the rebuild.

big season for Dach coming, we saw huge step forward at camp last year where he was by far the best Habs forward but then he got injured at 4 periods of hockey in the regular season.

For his own sake, he needs to stay healthy. At least the injuries are not related, last one being a knee and he was skating as the season ended so he will get the benefit of a full summer of training.
