Hmm. I don't think 5 will or should be in the NHL this year. Iggy and Lindstrom both would benefits greatly from another season in juniors.


those are the 2 forwards I like at 5. Both need to round out their games more especially since both kinda have come from nowhere. i mean in terms of draft stock.

but I get why flyers fans might hope that the team trades up in the draft, I heard Brière during a podcast say that he wasn't 100% sure that Matvei Michkov would come to North-America and play for Philly, apparently they've barely been in contact with him since the draft.

yeah I agree, but in the grand scheme of things, in the context of the habs' rebuild that extra developmental season is by no means an issue. in that trade proposal, even if they're getting assets they can use right now the habs would potentially be giving up the best player involved in the deal, which is why I say no.
