Has an assist, thought he had an assist on the first goal too but he didn't touch it, and has had some great looks.

He’s having a much better, smarter game than he did against the Czechs.

Just when I thought I was rid of his smirky face.

The Drafts lists are morphing?

That will continue toi happen as they all beg pro scouts to tell them enough to help get a pulse on the prospect's true values.

Yeah, mine changes each week too, but fortunately I had a strong starting list in the Fall while the other prognosticators were scrounging to figure their first round.

To illustrate this opinion circus, I will take C Konsta Helenius

Awhile back someone here sent me a query on Helenius early on, and I said, I will get back to them.
It was tricky because I could easily write to evalutiion, but I wanted to see more before I started giving him high end consideration. (Oh I could go through my daily biz, and see his name hig on all these mocks, so no worry right now until I saw more.).
Believe me, as a longer term developmental guy, he is yet another undersized ball of talent, but the World Junior Under 18 truly shown he was unable to stqnd out, that there is game (and maybe high level offensive potential) but he not enough to have him going early in the Draft.
I decided on my board I am gonna drop him b/c teams will be over looking him as soon as kids more polished and ready strat catchingvtheir eyes.
The MINUTE I do this,
I read somewhere that Helenius is shooting up into the top 12.
(where he sat for me through my indecisiveness.)

The teams in the first half of this draft are proabbly hoping that each team selecting near them have draft list boards that are different than theirs so they can get a chance to snag "their guys" and be able to use the worn out comment, "We didn't think he would be there."

The draft is a month away and each NHl teams work on a draft list is proably close to finalized.

And they aren't telling me or any of the other bladdermouths who they rally like.

amazing the amount of people slagging on Bedard. He's 18 and doing better than McDavid in his first WC. MCDavid was even a year older.

Its like people expect him to score every time he has the puck.

This is why we can't have nice things.

He's looked like the best forward out there today. He's Canada's best scorer. I think the coach had a chat with him after the Chechia game as to what he wants Bedsy to do it, and it's being done.

They were saying the person that will gain the most from Bedsy's experience here will be Luke Richardson next year

Quite a few people around the interwebs.

He is the least of my worries as far as the Hawks go. He knows what he needs to work on before anyone tells him.

Nobody expects him to score every time he has the puck or even every game. But he is expected to stop the giveaways, overhandling the puck and taking bad penalties.

I agree, Richardson, Bedard and the Blackhawks will benefit from the Canadian coach getting him to play smarter. It’s crazy that at 18 he may very well be the best scorer on a Canadian team full of much more experienced players.

Most of the people complaining are just haters who are jealous that their favorite team didn't draft him or they are just contrary because they are the type of person who hates the hype/media so much that they just go against it automatically without a logical reason.

If the Hawks could trade for cirelli from Tampa would you? I know it's a lot of term 6 years I believe and he is 26 he would fill that 2nd line center role behind Benard and making around 6 million. Imo I would at least consider it do to the fact Tampa is in cap hell and need to shed some contracts. Paul sheary Cernak are other possible players to look at as the reports have said.

Cirelli does a lot of things right. His deal could be a good measuring stick for ‘hey you have less points than Cirelli so we’re not going above $6 a year’. I wouldn’t trade a first for him, but maybe a second and third.

1st thing that popped into my head was Kyle should go after Cirelli.
If they resign Stamkos someone is going to have to leave

- captainserious

You're focusing on the right TB player to go after in Cirelli. A Denault type where he's a money in the bank shut down centerman. This is the guy Cooper sends out up 1 in Game 7 holding a 1 goal lead with a minute left.

But he's not a pts guy and never was going back to jrs. Never a pt per guy in jrs and his highest total in the Bigs is 45 this past yr for the 2015 3rd rounder... But, at 26 maybe there's more and at 6.2 per thru the 30/31 season he's locked up. He also has a NTC.

Seems TB is adding and then will go to Stamkos and say this is all we can offer and he either takes it and is underpaid or he moves on to get close to market value. And, IIRC he took less on his long term deal to allow the Bolts some flexibility.
