it seems GMs around the league often lack originality when it comes to hiring coaches... Keefe isn't a bad coach, and you could argue his failures in the playoffs were essentially due to what was given to him, but still.

a good coach would have won probaby 75% of their series, starting with the one againts MTL.

He's there to get the offensive talent to do well and make the playoffs. But, exactly like you said. He can't plan for a team when you're seeing them 7 times in 2 weeks.

yeah, I still think the problem in TOR resides more on how the team was built, but there were definitely times when he's been out-coached as you're saying when he should've won, this is true.
