Houle will most likely be re-signed as the Rocket's head coach, not a bad decision imho.

As long as he follows the plan and the system is in sync with the Habs, seems fien ti me.

Have not really heard anything about him - good or bad.

most likely a sign that he's doing a good job, if not MTL media would've talked about him more lol.

he wasn't Hughes' guy, but obviously they've had some discussions and are on the same page if they're going to extend him. hopefully Laval will be in the playoffs next season, it would be a good thing for the habs organization as a whole.

If the Habs did not have to call up so many players due to injuries, I think they would have made it in. Hard to judge getting into the playoffs as a key sign of success when you team keeps being depleted of players.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt - after all, The Hugo seem to think he is OK.

Good enough for me.

it sucks for the coaching staff and management team working for the club in the AHL, but such is the nature of a farm team, the priority being the big club in the NHL, as it should.

to me reason #1 they didn't make the playoffs is that they started the season with a rookie goalie (Dobes) who needed a few months to find his groove. they hired a vet to help him out only in December or January if I'm not mistaken.
that one is on Hughes, not Houle.

I get what you're saying, but given the circumstances I don't think it's necessary to identify a culprit, it took time for Dobes to find his groove but that kind of thing happens all the time, it is what it is.

best case scenario is trouba and bennett running into each other and they have stretcher both of them off the ice.

Ditto, can’t stand that guy..

Also, if you happen to listen to him, and I don’t know why anyone would, you’re gonna get some sound hockey advice..

If the rangers win this series you almost have to take one of the flyers cups away
