They might, but probably not.

Necas trade to somewhere is almost guaranteed.

I said he was fine.

He's still fine.

He and Necas didn't work well together, so they split them up. Problem is one of them has to go to the 4th line. So Necas went there first, rediscovered his offensive game, and then they flipped.

Now you have KK playing 4C with nowhere else to go because every other line has chemistry.

He wasn't playing poorly, per se... he just wasn't really playing. And the Canes don't have the cap space to spend $4.8 million on a 4th line guy if they're planning on signing Guentzel.

Nah. It's because he's a turnover machine and kind of drags lines down.

He's one of those guys who NEEDS to have the puck on his stick. When it's not, he's not doing anything. But he also never gets below the tops of the circles in either zone. Always either a shot from out high or he starts doing laps around the zone. Either way it results in a turnover more often than not.

Great hands. Super fast. Tries to beat guys on the rush all the time. Never gets close to the net. Loses his man in coverage nearly every shift.

oh my. hopefully the habs will stay away, because he's probably going to cost a lot despite these flaws... doesn't sound like a Brindamour kind of guy for sure.

Now would be the best time to buy out KK. If I remember correctly due to his age they only have to pay 1/3 instead of 2/3
