Fighting has become WWE like. I liked when a player like Gillies did not even like to fight, but he did it to stick up for the team and it served a purpose. - ses111
Now every big hit leads to a fight, even if it's legal. They should enforce the instigator rule more often.
My wife and I were talking about guys like John Scott and CTE the other day. It's tough. - Fenrir
It's a tragic situation. You can understand when players get hurt over checking. Checking is a natural part of the game. For ex-players to die young over fighting is horrible. I think the game can manager very well without fighting.

I'm not opposed to fighting, but like you said, the WWE aspect is a bit much along with having to answer for every clean hit.
Jan, you are exempt from these blanket statements.
I've reached the conclusion that your blood wouldn't boil if you were thrown into a vat of liquid hot magma. And I doubt your heartrate would jump if you were confronted by sharks with frickin' lazer beams attached to their heads!!

If you would have seen me at the watch party in game 6, screaming at the TV last night and in the triple OT when Gaborik scored, I assure you my blood pressure was at well more than an elevated rate.
Suppose they dressed 7 D? (Ruhwedel). Scratch whoever, dress Rempe and basically roll 3 lines. Fox plays sparingly, mostly Pp time and if they need a goal. Fox isn’t himself I think it’s pretty clear. He’s got meniscus tear or MCL sprain. Something knee related

this was my exact scream when the Pouliot/Brassard overtime goal happened game 1 vs Penguins in 2014

Wife and I were watching the Henrik doc and I re-enacted my silent rage from Game 5 in front of the TV because they were asleep in the hotel room.

Just worried about the D getting taxed over the course of the series. Look at the forward ice time last night too, they relied HEAVILY on the top 6. Everyone else barely played 11 minutes
