Massage mine while you’re at it

He gets a pass from me🤷🏻‍♂️for any offensive struggles he may have. Without him they’re no where near this round probably

Goals in general for anyone are difficult in this series so it’s a bit of singling out imo

Thats why when one of your best shooters isnt shooting, its frustrating in these massively tight games. No shots, even bad shots, means no tips, no rebounds, no second chance opportunities.

Its very annoying when hes got the puck on his stick and instead of using the defenseman as a screen to shoot... he transitions into a back skating glide, holds the puck too long because hes looking for the perfect pass and ends up doing nothing with it.

Idk maybe he’s hurt. McDavid hasn’t been shooting either and they were saying he might be hurt

Fox is the one Im worried about in terms of an injury. Hes not nearly as sharp as he usually is. Gus has been picking up shifts on PP1 as well which makes you wonder.

Yea agreed has to be his knee from the Jensen hit. Honestly, I wouldn’t be opposed to dressing Zac Jones and go 7D, maybe he could spark the PP if they dressed him

Fox played 29 minutes last night

I was worried about this in the regular season when Schneider and guys were getting 12-13 minutes a game. He’s probably gassed from all the playing time all season. He’s not the biggest guy so it was bound to catch up to him. This is also why you need bigger defenseman in the playoffs, ones that are able to take some pounding like what’s happening right now

Fox was the sole reason for the first goal. I need the pickle to acknowledge Goody as being worthy of the contract. Our goal is the cup- right? Goody makes it more possible! imo

Vesey may be out for the rest of the playoffs, he’s “week to week”

It looked like his shoulder was injured
He might’ve separated his shoulder or broke his collarbone if he’s out week to week. He left the ice favoring his shoulder.

Edit; Any head contact came from Vesey’s head whiplashed sideways upon contact shoulder to shoulder. Vesey 6’2”. Lomberg 5’9”
Looked like it could’ve/should’ve been an interference call, though.

I’m pretty sure a broken collarbone is not a weeek to week injury

Idk normal injury timelines, I was just speculating on what could’ve happened to his shoulder.

It was a filthy hit. Not sure how Lomberg didn’t get a phone call for that one

I didnt see anything to the head of Vesey. It was a hit away from the play, yes.

Idk I don’t think it was that bad. It was a bit late. To me looks like he just caught Vesey in the right spot to get an injury. He didn’t jump or launch, shoulder to shoulder.

Just trying to be fair, no one likes Vesey more than I do and I think it was a legal hit. Kulikov was worse because it was a second later then Lomberg was

Yea have to him credit on this one. That was a good hockey hit. It was a thrust, not a launch which I think is where people think he may have crossed a line. You could see Vesey shoulder/shoulder blade/collerbone/ (take your pick) give at impact and he immediately favors the arm.

This clip slows it down and you can see it about a dozen times, he doesn’t have the puck but the he literally has just passed it
