Yea have to him credit on this one. That was a good hockey hit. It was a thrust, not a launch which I think is where people think he may have crossed a line. You could see Vesey shoulder/shoulder blade/collerbone/ (take your pick) give at impact and he immediately favors the arm.

This clip slows it down and you can see it about a dozen times, he doesn’t have the puck but the he literally has just passed it

Easiest way to look at it is Kulikov was very close to a suspension (late hit) on that one, but it was split second later to make it worse. Lomberg essentially timed it perfectly. If you slow down the launch looks like a thrust into his shoulder to shoulder, which is a god damn hockey hit lol you don’t like it, go hit him back

Sometimes a hit is clean and no one needs to freak over it. Say nice playoff hit, and give credit. Homers everywhere think their guy didn’t do anything wrong, and vice versa. It’s so annoying
