I get what you’re saying - but the stats about him getting all his points in the first couple games and doing jack all in the big games 5, 6, 7 had been posted a ton…as has his secondary assists thing. And no goals.

The Marner thing needs to die. There is no doubt on my mind that him and his agent will be asked about a teams list - but I am also as positive Mitchy will refuse to move. He’s a selfish player as we’ve seen in negotiation and he will see a contract year (which will benefit the Leafs) and a chance to load up on pints passing a puck to best scorer in the world.

He should absolutely be trade but unfortunately that depends on him - Mitchy cares for Mitchy and not the Leafs. That his prerogative.
