Jeannot for the pick that becomes Berkly Catton, that has armed robbery written all over it and you’ll have that shoved in your face for 10+ years

2nd rounder for Jeannot, absolutely but not for 11th overall

Sabres 11th pick for Tanner Jeannot?

He shut down the first rounder. He's all for trading a second for Jeannot, which I still think is an overpayment. The guy hits. Sometimes. Big deal.

Did you read what I wrote, or just stop a few words in?

Everybody understands it would cost extra to offload Skinner.

It's such an expectation at this point that even a nothing CapFriendly mock GM by some Chicago fans saying they'd take Skinner's entire contract was shocking.

We all know it would be Skinner plus more to offload his contract, and it would take retention too.

Who is ducking that?

- kingcong39

Why so punchy? I did read what you wrote at it seemed to imply the exact opposite of what you are saying now.

I don't think everyone understands that it might cost to unload Skinner. Frankly, I've never seen anyone propose it and many people hope for at least a token return, including an entire page or two right before my comment.

Scored 24 goals a couple years ago to. He would be a decent add.

I don't think, at this point, anyone is adding Jeannot for that flash in the pan year he had. His offense is non-existent, almost Girgensons-esq, at this point. Also, in 16 career playoff games, he has exactly zero goals.

If he brings physically and that hard to play against quality, I'm all for adding him for nothing more than a 3rd round pick. Or Skinner. 😂

Also 1 year til UFA. They have to find younger versions of his type.

He's 26 years old, he's been in the league only 4 years.

Taking skinner is the only way lol

I wouldn't even give them a 3rd round pick. Is he an effective pker? They need to be done paying 4th liners 2.5 million dollars that bring nothing to the table

What do you think Joshua or Trenin will cost. He brings a lot of what this team could use IMO

Tell that to the ones that want to run Power out of town.

Again, I'm all for adding him. At the right price. But I'm not the GM. For all we know, Adams will trade his next three firsts for him 😂

Well there mistaken, and God I hope Not. We have so many Prospects and if he is keeping 11. Wouldn't have a problem with a 2nd or even a 3rd and lower prospect. But there's players in FA that fit his type to.

OK, and he won't be that expensive to resign and he brings things this team can use. And if he doesn't resign then hopefully Wahlberg is ready.

I'm already assuming he will be too expensive and too much term, if he leaves.

Would love to be a fly on the wall. But I'd probably end up puking all over the room. I'm hopeful that they'll make moves, but not confident that they'll be the right ones.

I for one am glad that the Sabres fired and re hired Lindy Ruff before any of their 6 head coaches in between got a head coaching job after being fired from Buffalo.

Welcome back Disco, you (frank)ing dolt.
