Well I guess, just shows the Failure even more IMO

If there was one guy who I thought would get a job next it would be Granato for a team like San Jose. He's the perfect fit. I guess if I had to pick another one it would be Disco.

The rest are different variations of awful or washed up.

He's a year from UFA and has likely already peaked as a player.
- Lunaion

What are you doing with Tuch after next season ends?

Same commentary as you just applied to Jeannot (a year from UFA, already peaked as a player)?

Taking skinner is the only way lol

I wouldn't even give them a 3rd round pick. Is he an effective pker? They need to be done paying 4th liners 2.5 million dollars that bring nothing to the table

You put those two in a similar bucket?

I wouldn't go long term (or high $) on Tuch, not that I think this is going to be the GM's decision to make. Doors open for something shorter, but gotta be prepared to move on from him.

The door is open to a shorter extension?

How do we know that?

Here's how they're similar:

As Lunaion put it, Tuch will be a pending UFA after the upcoming season, and he'll likely have already hit his peak.

He'll be 30 when he needs the new deal, and he has a lengthy injury history.

If he's not amenable to a reasonable new deal, they need to be prepared to trade him, unless they're just going to let his contract expire.

If he has a big upcoming season, which the team needs, it'll complicate that new deal a good bit.

It'll only complicate it amongst fans. Adams will "Adams" and sign him to the max term.

Exactly. I'm sure they're banking on and hoping that he'll bounce back. They need him to.

It’s like TB thought they were getting Goodrow, Coleman and Gourde all in one player, judging from the price they paid for him.
He’s definitely a physical presence out there, from the little I’ve seen him play.

They might be ready to recoup one of the FIVE (!) 😂 draft picks they gave up to acquire him. Yikes. Horrible trade at the time; God-awful trade now.

I for one am glad that the Sabres fired and re hired Lindy Ruff before any of their 6 head coaches in between got a head coaching job after being fired from Buffalo.

Welcome back Disco, you (frank)ing dolt.

- TheSabresTaco

why let ruff go if your going to hire rolston
bring back nolan
hire a soccer guy
hire a loser who wears blue glasses

etc

the conversation should be 3 years 18 mil total and if his camp does not accept it, trade him next summer

Hopefully the team is so good by then, that he'll take that 3 year deal to stay.

Then I woke up from my dream...

Canada doesn't have access to the show Emily in Paris, Skinner would turn this down.
