These things take time.

W/o looking up their RfA statuses
6K - 4 x $4.95
Levi - 2 x $1.95
Quinn - 2 x $4.25
Peterka - 5 x. $6.375
Byram - 5 x $6.75

Although in full disclosure, I did just take a couple puffy puffs

This isn't easy to answer without knowing what type of seasons each one is going to have

Savoie with the short handed rush that leads to the possible game winner for Moose Jaw.

Drummondville came back from down 3-0 to tie.

Great hockey game

Have some time to let most of those play out. The one I'd immediately object to is paying JJ that kind of money, but only buying 1 year of UFA.

They could look to extend them this offseason but it will be interesting if there is an appetite too.

Depends on their other offseason moves I would imagine.

Do they get a big fish ? Do they get out of Skinner’s contract ?

So many questions to answer.

I would think UPL’s benchmark is the Gustavsson contract so perhaps 3 years at 4M per.

The rest I have no idea.

At this point, just improve the roster this summer, make the playoffs and go from there.

Do YOU think they should lock them all up?

A guy like Byram is tough. Imo, he hasn't scratched his potential, but what if he doesn't?

I think his main focus should be to improve this roster and make the playoffs. I think once these players get a sniff, they're going to want to extend here in Buffalo and remain a part of whatever group he assembles. As they say, winning cures a lot of ills.

Don’t worry the QMJHL defensemen of the year, playoff mvp, and CHL defensemen of the year …. Komarov is coming.

What can go wrong. And he’s already signed

I wouldn't lock anyone up this summer. There's no need to rush this next group.

Byram would be first on the list, but I don't think there's a deal that works for both sides right now. I don't think he would want to do anything too team friendly and he didn't show enough to want to go too high.

Exactly. He's a big question mark right now. Everyone sees the skills. Now let's see it translate into bigger numbers. Let's see the kid take charge out there.

Serious question, has the date and time of your last post on hockeybuzz been announced yet? Is this a gone forever or just a retirement of Swedish Jesus because you’re planning on getting a new Tracfone?it’s taking over the headlines here in the states. Trump trial is back page news. FYI

He’s also only 22. NHL defensemen find their stride at around 24 generally.

His talent and skating alone we shouldn’t give up on

He seemed to play better with Dahlin. (Another good puck mover)

Joker he absolutely stunk. But joker in March was brutal.

I feel like this team might look a lot different at the end of the season than the beginning. Would it be a shock if Levi was the #1 or a rookie F earned a top 6 spot? Let things play out. None of these guys are sure things to take the next step. An injury or poor year for any of them changes the complexion completely.

Everyone needs to remember then that Power is 21.

Joker is also just 24. Just saying.
