Not adding Henrique for that Fighter or grit. That's a different acquisition. - Buff36
But adding Henrique, which will bring minimal impact to the roster is a move Adams has been making since he became a GM. Henrique is a depth player on a good team, what do you see there that says he will be anything more in Buffalo?

Its a body, but it's a move that goes nowhere. - washedup20

A depth player, he would be a 3C here. Just cause it didn't work in Edmonton. Guy still had over 50pts and is fantastic on the Dot. Sabres need to find those complimentary players to fill there roster too, not just about Highend with them. And you don't know if it goes anywhere.
Have to do better than that. Just have to - sbroads24
Adams should overpay fighters to come in, promote his prospects, and let it ride. He's either going down or it'll work. There is no middle ground for him or this core, time to own it.

I understand your approach, I just don't think the player is strong enough to assume the desperately need role in Buffalo that is a strong 3C.
He would blend in with the crowd and collect his checks until retirement.
That's Eric Staal/Erik Johnson etc all over again.
Trade the first for Ehlers or Bennett or someone who is playing for their financial future and reap the benefits of some guys playing with hunger - sbroads24

I have been impressed with his play this post season..and he certainly is gritty.
Not too great on the dot though.
Maybe the Panthers will cut him loose on the market in order to re-sign Sam and Monte...and more. - IonSabres
He’s a Panther! Hopefully for several more years, but we’ll see.
If you are looking at FO numbers from this playoffs, keep in mind he’s playing with/still recovering from a hand injury vs TB that kept him out for several games.
I loved Yanni when he was with the Bolts...he was the little engine that could.
I am beginning to believe Roy could be high on their list at 3C.
good post - IonSabres
I know a certain someone will love that Vegas trade 😍
- Jokiharju and a pick for Mangiapane
- Ryan Johnson, Rosén, 2nd, 4th for Nic Roy and Korczak
- Bryson, 2nd, 4th for Jeannot
- Draft Catton 11th overall
- Roughly 3.5 mil in space
