Do you think the polish on top of Adams dome effects the scouts abilities to watch the youtube highlights they use to draft?

it's always better to have a few extra eyes on things, despite what you think

My gripe would be/have been with not having a PoHO to have kept these scouts in check and doing their jobs.

Rosen, Poltapov, Leinonen

vs.

Cossa or Wallstedt, Zellweger, one of Casey, Lueau or Warren

There's no question which grouping of the above would greater benefit the Sabres.

Worst is it's not hindsight, as all the players I mentioned were being called out as Sabres picks each time the Sabrses picked.

Indeed. They’d still be picking 11th (probably) but the system would be so balanced with high end throughout.

I just thought it was a mistake. Organizational need was defense not goalie at the time. And they could of gotten him a round later if not later than that.


But yes you were right that they would draft him.

Bruins employ 20 scouts.

Do they hit on their 3rd-7th rounders more than anyone else? no.
