Starting to think it's a GM that's inexperienced. Obviously there willing to spend money or else they wouldn't have handed out that many Extensions. Pegula is a meddler, but it's obviously more than that. IMO

Any owner, at the end of the day, should be involved. It's his/her/their money.

They should never be calling the shots on trades, draft picks, etc, however.

I'd bet that he's much less involved since Kim got sick. We'll see if that translates to better results.

But you're right, there's also an inexperienced GM at the helm. And I'm convinced that it's Kevy-poo's team, now. He's either going to reap the rewards or hang himself.

Well there's talent there to work with, and they have a lot of it. He has to start thinking of the know, he has to many Prospects. He needs to start using them to benefit the team know. There not far off, say 3 decent pieces and better coaching and this could be a very Dangerous Team

Yup, have to hope this isn't another do the minimum summer. I think that was originally the plan. At least the Lindy move signals there's a little pressure on them.

He is famously collaborative. He traded for Greenway because Don liked him, he signed Eakin because Ralph liked him, he lets Forton handle the draft. Terry loves the obviously amazing Zemgus Girgensons, so he's been here for 36 seasons.

Has Adams ever had his own vision for the team? Being collaborative is good but does Adams actually have a vision? I really don't think so other than PWWTBH. If someone asks Kevyn Adams what his vision for the team is, you'll get some version of:

"That's a great question, Timmy. You know, we want people who are excited to put on that sweater and play hard for this team."

Rarely will you get anything resembling style of play or body comp or anything like that.

Bills about to add 10.2mill in Cap Space come June 2nd with White's post June 1st cut. Give Beaner about 12mill to play with.

Well, easy to see that's he's building a team in his own imagine. 1st round smallish soft C who took 7 years to stick in the NHL, but was nice to everyone.

Heard most of that gets taken by rookies, and just leaves a couple million.

They will only need 3.2mill of it supposedly, only be your top 3 picks that count in the Top 51. They said this would be the first time Beane used the little loophole if he chooses.

We will find out how much pressure soon

Even tpegs has to realize there is no way to sell the fans on another summer like last. If adams has another offseason like that and they start flat that building will be empty by the end of October

What are the players going to cry about then

Just going off what Sal said, I don't follow the NFL cap. It's not worth the time, so many ways to create room whenever they want.

Definitely feels like a cap reset year, so I don't expect big things.

“I don’t know how it was in Buffalo, but ever since he came here, he’s been one of those perfect players that can do it all,” Barkov said. “He plays any situation on the ice. He takes big faceoffs. Power play. PK. Five-on-five. He can do it all at an elite level. It’s fun to play with that guy.”

“He’s like Barkov,” Maurice said. “They don’t have games where you wonder where their heads are defensively. They just don’t. That’s their starting point, always. You have to be on the ice with him to fully appreciate it. It’s almost like you have to be here and you have to watch every game and sometimes you need to be in the building to see it, because of the way the cameras change. The long stack of right decisions he makes every time.

I am not expecting a huge addition, just he can fill a hole if need be know. He seems to find a decent player to add just before Camp.

The next time someone asks out, you trade them to another sh!t team in a worse position than yours.

Everyone doesn't get to go to Florida or Vegas.

I hope it doesn't happen Power, but how long do some of these guys wait for Adams to do more than Draft.

Donny’s guys are Clifton and greenway. He pushed Adams hard to trade or sign them.

Anyone can ask out, but there's no guarantee they're traded to a good team just because Skunk and Jack were. They should be careful what they wish for.

Everyone from the owner down to Brett Murray were culpable for what happened this past year. Not just Adams.

Like Dahlin said, everybody needs to have the best summer of their career, and I believe he meant management just as much as his teammates.

It really has to be all hands on deck. Anyone who's won a Stanley Cup says it's the hardest trophy to win in all of sports and everyone in the organization needs to be rowing in the same direction. I've heard it a gazillion times. Everyone has a job to do. Players need to worry about playing better, and less about what management is doing.

Like you said yesterday, you don't know what combination of players will work the best. Maybe the only outside guy he brings is Scott Laughton, Kulich and Savoie make the team and that's that and they go out win 50 games.

Point being, the players just need to worry about playing better.
