Might get the LA-Busch-Can treatment.

What defines a rental?

Dudes,

Check this out. Bills signing a gold medal wrestler to add to the D Line. With Mickey D's wrestling background, of course he chose to sign with the Bills. Who knows how it will transition, but you know the dude is strong as poop and has incredible leverage. What really makes this move interesting is that they cut Haack to make room. That's the part I like best about this.

Bills are loaded at D Line. Between D Line and LB, Bills are really stout up the middle. No major injuries and they're winning the Super Bowl this year. Get it effin crankin

well that's not on the question either.

Who helps Buffalo more?
Ehlers or Vatrano

There's a mountain of evidence that Ehlers individually provides more positive impact per minute than Vatrano.

This is not me saying "no Vatrano". Ehlers is the better player, through and through.

- TheSabresTaco

I think if you need a top 6 scoring winger, it's ehlers as a no brainer

If you need a middle 6 winger that's well rounded and a pk guy, it's vatrano

perfect world, we need both

probably frank as the ducks probably will not be a playoff team in the fall where the jets will still be trying to compete for the cup in 24-25

can make your argument for either. as the lesser player, think you'd have to say Frank. but you don't know demand for either on the market.

what would pageau cost?

islanders need cap space and he would slot in perfect for our 3rd line center

How do you go about doing that based on any data other then 'feeling?

You lower the cap limit for certain groups of players?

If so, how much do you lower it?

- kingcong39

If the cap rises 10%, do they increase the league minimum by 10% also? The bottom players will still be receiving league min contracts. And the higher end players will take larger portions of a pie, it always has been the case, but add in that FA has really strained the middle of the pack players already, I think you’ll see the void grow larger. And I gave my answer. The top line/pair and possibly half of the second line if your on a solid team will eat around 75% of the increase imo.

Expected Buffalo pod is a good listen today. Chad just covered these.

IMO 3/4 C is their clear #1 need. Bottom 6 winger is second. I'd put D 3rd and I don't think they make a top 6 move.

G is a fascinating topic. I think they just go Levi. Doesn't seem like the biggest decision at first, but it could be the difference between playoffs or getting fired.

Shoulda scrolled down, yep meant cap floor.

Idk if this will be the case, Just how I would try to run it if I were in charge. Higher likelihood of getting/retaining top talent.
