We'll see. All 3 contracts make things a challenge. The 2 QO's at least warrant a discussion in the front office. Bryson's is too high and Joker filing has to scare them.

I think they are clearly missing a top 4 piece and KA just might get serious about that this summer. Joker, Samuelsson, and Clifton are a stretch and inconsistent when asked to do too much. Getting the feeling Johnson won't be in Buffalo to start the season.

No offense, but if KA feels that way, it's because a staff feels that way who watch him a lot more. If they don't (and are giving up hope with Krebs), time for a move. Would have been a lot easier just to hold onto Mitts though.

Adams was willing to go up to 6 to 6.5 for mitts and he said no thanks.

NHL wise. It’s easy to create cap space if needed.

Trade Clifton for Pennies.
Trade samuelsson
Trade greenway.

Clifton is 2 more years and could move. I don't think he should be factored in to their long term plans. They can afford that for the next 2 years and it's easy to argue that it's a good place to spend.
