FL can definitely play better than they have. This is the first time this season really falling behind in a series (BOS won first game, but FL took next 3). They’ve been forechecking the hell out of NY, but every time they free up the puck it goes right to another Ranger, or is just another puck battle. Eventually NY clears it and nothing comes of it. I expect an even more heightened effort than last game. Might get more testy than previous games, as I think FL is going to try and get more and more traffic in front of shesterkin, they need to screen him, or tip pucks on him, or even just make him give up a poopty rebound for once. Tempers in front of the net are bound to flare.

Because hes a 23yo kid that hasnt met expectations and we've accepted it for what it is at this point.

I know people want to talk about plays away from the puck and stuff like that, however, since the Game 4 loss to the Canes... Mika has 2 assists, Panarin has 3 assists (2 of them came in the same game). Prior to that Mika had 3g 9a, Panarin had 4g 5a... what the hell happened after that Game 4 loss.

It will be a very tight fit. Depends on what the contracts look like for Lindgren and Schneider (he's playing into a nice little bridge deal). The thing is, Necas is exactly what we need for RW. Hes exactly what we thought we were getting from Kakko.

Could it get any worse? maybe you find lightning in a bottle. I see game 4 as good opportunity to do that. The lineup is flat (I can admit that). Maybe the top 6 needs a fresh hungry veteran addition. Goodrow 2.0. Wheeler is big which might help too, Panthers aren’t killing us with speed, it’s their size and strength that’s doing it
