Being up 2-1 in the Conference Finals isn’t the time to bring up trading players off the roster that are playing in the Conference Finals?
- nyrangers9479

Last two days I can’t remember ever being this irritated on this chat room. And we’re up 2-1 in the ECF, after two OT wins. And that’s after everyone and their mother gave up on them being up 3-1 and 3-2 last series and watching basically everyone apologize to the whole team after game 6 vs canes

It will be a very tight fit. Depends on what the contracts look like for Lindgren and Schneider (he's playing into a nice little bridge deal). The thing is, Necas is exactly what we need for RW. Hes exactly what we thought we were getting from Kakko.

Really? We're going to talk about trades in our line up during the Conference Finals? Wtf??

I love hockey, love talking about it, the good and the bad, win or lose. If your rosey-eyed self cant handle that, tough.

Ultimately the fact you insist on talking off-season moves indicates that you don’t think the Rangers are good enough, you don’t believe

And you have every right to feel that way, but I believe they will prove you wrong

Wrong. My belief is they can be better. I want to keep winning. I was a Ranger fan 10 years ago, yesterday, today, tomorrow, next week, next season and so on. Now, is it the best time to bring it up, no, I said I should have pocketed it.

However it was your brother that started the trade stuff by bringing up another team that is currently in the WCF that should be making a trade.

On the flip side, TJ, this place has been like this all year and we’ve been killing it. I know your superstitious ass wants it exactly like this

Game 4 in the 2014 ECF was the Marty St Louis overtime goal game.

Oh man if they could take this one tonight and take a 3-1 series lead.

Florida is gonna play this one as a must win game for them.

Can’t imagine what kind of shenanigans those psychos pull if they’re on the brink of elimination.

I remember exactly where I was when MSL scored that.

Usually I’d say they need to match their intensity out the gate, but could be fun to see them keep playing a strong defensive style and then counterpunch en route to wipe out

Bread, Kreider, Miller all get goals tonight. Book it!

Good morning Rangers fans, What a weekend

I'm finally back at work have caught up on all the comments so most things have been covered. I will say this, I don't think Panarin is hurt, I think he is trying too hard and not just playing. In OT yesterday, Trocheck won a face off right to him. In early April, he shot that right away and tied the game against the Islanders on that exact play. Sunday, he tried to bring the puck to the middle more and lost the puck off his stick, doing too much. He just needs to simplify his game and play more loose.

I also just think Carolina and Florida are pressuring the poop out of him, which is fine. Leaves room for everyone else on the ice if he can get the puck to them. It’s like a double team in basketball. Laf and Trocheck have been showing why they shouldn’t be given any time/space all playoffs

2024 Lafreniere over 2022 Lafreniere
Vincent Trocheck over Ryan Strome

That’s why we will beat Florida when we couldn’t beat Tampa

At what point is he not considered a “kid” anymore? It’s an excuse now. The orgs patience has to be nearing the end. He can change it tho, but just do it already

Goodrow and Laf stepped up thats what happen let’s get on the guys who CARRIED this team to the pres trophy and, quite frankly, it’s about damn time they got some help. They’re probably dead ass tired from the work load all year.

We’re up 2-1 in the series!! Get a grip ffs, you’re literally impossible to please. 90% of you

Wanna know how we win this series? Our bottom 6 out scores theirs. They’re top 6 is better for the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean we can’t win the (frank)ing thing.

Feel good about today. I think the Rangers adjust, no chance Panthers control the majority of play like last game. They let that one slip through their grips, our turn to dominate a game.

I’d consider rotating Cuylle, Rempe, Goodrow through with Mika and Kreider. Give those guys some space and chip in a greasy one.

Edit: I also think Goodrow and Trocheck have some chemistry, so always a possible to move Laf up and have Goodrow take his spot. Very Gallant like moves, but need to find something here.

Not gonna happen, my friend.
To be the best, you have to beat the best. And currently, there are no other teams left to face off against except the best.
For me, it's enough that we belong in that group and are finding ways to get it done. There's only one stat that matters anymore and that is W's/60!!

LET'S FUCKING GO NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!

2 of his last 3 goals the primary assist came from Trocheck! Gotta get him extra ice time while he’s hot, let Florida focus on him and free Panarin up. Regardless, main thing I’m looking for tonight is getting the puck out of our zone. Flip it to center ice, doesn’t have to be pretty!

I expect a lot more contact with Shesty and traffic, ala Bennet with the slick elbow last game.
They really won't change the rest of their game. They are playing pretty well. Especially their forecheck. Rangers just have to pick their spots like they have all season. They are opportunistic scorers.

And for the love of god, shoot on the (frank)ing PP!

Yep. It took Carolina 3 games to realize they had to crash the net and get traffic and tips if they were going to beat Igor. Seems like a similar path so far...

Yes and many of those minutes come when Rempe isnt playing. Im ok with it in that instance.

If theres one change Id make, its putting Miller and Schneider back together.
