The second that puck went in off Wennberg I instantly forgot about how bad they played and said man let’s win game 4. But I keep getting reminded they shouldn’t have won yesterday.

I celebrate by myself apparently

In reality you score 5 goals on a vezina goalie you deserve to win the game even if you get outplayed for parts of it. They found a way

That’s what they do. They find ways to win. People have a problem with it lol their identity is what we don’t like. Instead of just embracing it. I thought once they got to OT they’d win by regrouping and resetting. Getting there was torture.

Precisely what I’m talking about. And we’re the big bad bully bros. Sigh 😔 the 2 most positive people this board has ever had are the bad guys. You can’t make it up

That’s after the guy he’s complaining about basically won them game 2 with a brilliant outlet pass

TomGulittiNHL:
“As lopsided as Game 3 looked (and was for much of it), NHL EDGE Puck and Player Tracking had the high-danger shots on goal at 10-8 Rangers.

Of Florida's 108 shot attempts, 41 were blocked and 29 missed the net. 38 went on net.”

This is the classic bend but don’t break strategy

Watching the game I was wondering if the Rangers weren’t used to the heat and humidity of Florida, or if you really feel it being in the arena. Much like the altitude in Colorado. The 3rd period looked like they were playing outside in 100 degree heat, and the panthers were playing inside. Hopefully they get their bearings better in game 4

Few thoughts/admission:

I owe Barclay Goodrow an apology. Hand up accountability. I was wrong. Alexis Lafreienere is an elite player. Rangers ow a lot to Igor Shesterkin. Lindgren has been the best defensemen this series. Trocheck continues to play tough minutes and falter too much. Laviolette did the right thing calling the timeout when he did.

The Bad: Miller, Fox, Zibanejad, Kreider, and Panarin have been mostly terrible for these games. Especially Zibanejad. Guy playing his worst hockey which say a lot considering how mad he was from December to March.

So I wonder if the Chytil experiment is over soon. Maybe he gets one more game, but if we lose tuesday and he and his linemates are equally as ineffective, gotta think he sits for game 5.

Also, put Miller back with Schneider. Trouba is a dumpster fire regardless, but at least give Miller a partner that he plays well with. Need him to be way better than that.

Oh yes. If you can't admitted get out shot attempted 100-40 and winning that game is a lucky win, then you didn't understand what you watched yesterday. Be happy Jim, they won.

Chytil isn't the problem with that line.

Mostly agree with this. A bit harsh on trocheck. Have to wonder if throwing Chytil on Zib and Krieder's wing waa not the ideal move at this point. I'd put roslavic back there. Can't see them throwing wheeler in since he was already a step slow before the injury.

Who the right winger is on that line shouldn't impact the play of Zib so much, but for whatever reason it seems to.
