They were very fortunate lol but hey, this team can win playing with fire because they are fire.

Listen, this posting of the charts is my bit. Always will be. Playoffs a win is all that matters. But we all saw the 3rd period yesterday. It was very one sided. That's all these charts say. I fee like for game 3 you can't argue the process, just be happy with the result. (Not you specifically, just in general.)

Mostly agree with this. A bit harsh on trocheck. Have to wonder if throwing Chytil on Zib and Krieder's wing waa not the ideal move at this point. I'd put roslavic back there. Can't see them throwing wheeler in since he was already a step slow before the injury.

There is supposed to be not faulter in there. I bungled that. He's been really good.

Few thoughts/admission:

I owe Barclay Goodrow an apology. Hand up accountability. I was wrong. Alexis Lafreienere is an elite player. Rangers ow a lot to Igor Shesterkin. Lindgren has been the best defensemen this series. Trocheck continues to play tough minutes and falter too much. Laviolette did the right thing calling the timeout when he did.

The Bad: Miller, Fox, Zibanejad, Kreider, and Panarin have been mostly terrible for these games. Especially Zibanejad. Guy playing his worst hockey which say a lot considering how mad he was from December to March.

I Thgouht fox was more engaged offensively. Let’s be honest Panarin kreider and zib won’t be quiet for long. Once the PP clicks they’ll start going

Who the right winger is on that line shouldn't impact the play of Zib so much, but for whatever reason it seems to.
- t-dawg

Idk what the answer is for that line. Eventually Mika Zibanejad has to wake up and be the player we know he can be. Right now Barkov has Zibanejad in hell both offensively and defensively.

The problem with it is there are two teams playing. And you can’t get ever give credit to the other team. It’s always what we do wrong. Florida is arguably the stiffest test we’ve had since the 94 devils (i know you don’t remember that).

Maybe the heat of Florida had an effect. The flu had the effect last series, was it game 4?

Florida la forecheck is insane. That wears teams down. Have to move the puck fast so the defense doesn’t get crushed each game

I think he meant "not falter too much"

Florida is great. They don't need help being better. The way the Rangers played yesterday very much help the Rangers for the most part. All it takes is one bounce and we're talking about that game in a vastly different way.

Like I said earlier about yesterday . The rangers won on the backs of Lindgren, Goodrow, Lafreneire, Trocheck and Shesterkin. You/we can both analyze the good and bad from this game.

One thing Vally has been harping on is shooting high on Bob. And they’ve been doing that. Whether initial shots or deflected shots.

Aim high fellas!!

I’m telling you I’d dress 7 D if I were Lavy. So it eases up the minutes collectively. Will he idk, but it’s hard not to trust him since he pushes the right buttons every game it seem like

Bob low key stinks. coming into this series had save percentage in these playoffs of under .910. But the Panther do such a great job that all he has to do is not be awful.

Exactly. He and Kreider can't continue to be invisible 5 on 5 or rely on a third wheel to assert themselves by playing good hockey

Florida is a fantastic team. They grind down offensively and defensively, clear the puck as soon as it’s in zone. I have taken nothing away from them and why I constantly say credit the opponent, as others are doing so. Can be happy with the winning but also be concerned about what we have seen. They are not mutually exclusive terms. Two more wins is the goal for the round, that’s it.

Bob is good side to side (post to post) or at his best. Thats why the PP has struggled imo. The east west stuff where they succeed is virtually taken away

Florida also has a big defense corp which makes it that much harder on our more finesse guys like Zib and Panarin to get much going

They got grapefruit size testicles this team is ultimately the reason they win games. To me they learned from last year what it takes to win, and the it factor is palpable

We have to understand how difficult for finesse players, like Zib and Panarin, and Fox, it is to score in the playoffs. McDavid has 3 playoff goals as an example.

34 comeback wins says all you need to know about the constitution and make up of the team. Why we call them the Resilient Rangers

I can’t tell you how many times over the years the Rangers lost a heart breaking game they deserved to win.

But ok, I’ll apologize for yesterday’s win if it means keeping the peace

This is the epitome of a lunch pail series for the Ranger players. Some guys succeed better in it more then others, but last series the big guys were crucial, and now it’s the goodrows, Lafs and troubas turn. Me personally, Trouba has about 6 weeks worth of currency with me for one single play/pass because I realize how important that goal was. It saved the season. He could take 3 elbowing penalties and I wouldn’t care. It didn’t burn us yesterday

It's been quoted. Easier to admit the mistake and keep it moving. If I don't somebody might have (another) meltdown.
