It can also skew the stat numbers when you see very few muffins, but a few too many two on ones, or even a breakaway. - Ratsreign
Yea true. Shesty for all the rubber he sees, a lot of the rubber can be fairly easy to stop and he has good rebound control which kind of sets him apart from a lot of goalies. Shesty is saving their bacon in OT more than anything else this playoff. Or very late in the game, crunch time minutes. He’s been otherworldly in those moments. Almost like he gets better as the game goes on during a particular game |

This is actually a good point. Facing shots all the time may be better then not as it keeps you in the game mentally more often. Poor Bob and Freddie have it easy back there until they don’t, and the rangers strike because they haven’t seen as much action all game they may struggle a bit - Slimtj100
That was brodeur’s greatest quality. He sit there havin a sammitch and then set it down to make a few big saves, and then settle back in to wait until the opponent could manage to get near him again. |

He makes the crazy saves, too. FL has to start getting to the net front more, screens and tipped pucks. If Shesty sees it he’s almost certainly stopping it |

I never realized how good Forsling is until this series. I always heard about how under the radar good he is, he reminds me of McDonagh. That was a snipe that simply beat Shesty. He turned and looked and was like wow nice shot |

As far as I can see TJs the only one who has talked about Lafreniere’s goal other than Jan’s write up since the game ended yesterday at 6:33pm - jimbro83

Trouba made the pass out of the zone to trochecks tape on the first one. Forgive my praise of him
That second one may have been his true breakout, jaw dropping moment. Like the whole hockey world is talking about it kind of thing.
Lemieux vs Casey kind of goal if you want to pinpoint a reference goal. Gave me goosies |

Wasn’t even referring to the outlet pass on the goodrow game 2 winner
2 outlets passes by Trouba in b2b games in crucial spots. Stop the presses!! We don’t need that praise around here he took an elbowing penalty
it must kill you guys I’ve pointed this out |

The analytics debate is so effing boring. Please stop everyone. We all get it. Allow it to die. We aren't still in 2021 or whatever when the debate was relevant. Just let it go. Who cares. Just enjoy the hockey this time of year |

I agree so why are you mad at me? Lol
We win different ways. Albeit tortuous ways, but different ways nonetheless.
Me, I thought about how bad we played until the Wennberg goal, then i immediately forgot about it, and pure glee took over |

Because you bring it up endlessly and make it a personal vendetta of yours. Just stop addressing it and it will go away, or at least settle into its rightful place in the wide world of hockey fandom. |

Im the positive villain. It’s a new title on hockeybuzz 🤷🏻♂️and if you think the anal addicts debate is going away anytime soon your nuts, whether I post about it or not |

The problem with it is there are two teams playing. And you can’t get ever give credit to the other team. It’s always what we do wrong. Florida is arguably the stiffest test we’ve had since the 94 devils (i know you don’t remember that).
Maybe the heat of Florida had an effect. The flu had the effect last series, was it game 4? - Slimtj100
Enough TJ, Mika just sucks balls, keep on defending him but he is till sucking balls!! |

I am excited about the win. But I also think there are certain players that need to play better. Those two are not mutually exclusive. I have a feeling majority of people here feel the same way. |

He is having a rough round, let's not extrapolate that he sucks or been brutal the whole playoffs. Barkov is eating his lunch this round, no shame in admitting that, the guy is Bergeron 2.0 |

It used to be everywhere else was overly negative and hockeybuzz was the positive place to go and now the tables have turned - jimbro83

We won yesterday!! I would like to celebrate with you guys but I’m forced to feel awful about it because we played so bad
Again the positive guys are evil
And 🖕 - Slimtj100
The problem is that you dont see it. You actually said it. They played so bad but won. I mean can we win 2 more like last game?? Who knows but it is better to cautious than over optimistic. Id feel much better if we played better and won. |
