MEDIC!!!!

We need a Medic in here, stat!

Y’all fallen and bumped your heads.

Right. It went from Marner wouldn't like conservative Utah to .... wherever it is we are now.

Looking at it from a young millionaire's perspective who is used to living in Canada, I would not go for it. Maybe if he's settling down completely and raising a family, then it *might* be a good place. I would argue that I would rather raise a family in Canada than the US, especially a regressive red state dominated by an ultra-conservative religious cult.

Pass.

Like I said though, maybe a good place to raise a young family if you like the whole "strong family values" thing and don't mind sending your kids to school with a kevlar backpack.

You can take your politics talk elsewhere because all of it is irrelevant to the discussion. Marner is a Leafs fan and his dream is to play and win a Cup as a Leafs fan.

I see what you did there.

But yeah, you're right about the politics.

TL;DR - Marner may or may not like Utah, for various reasons.

Mostly because of you.

Exhibit B.

That's what happens when you have 300 million+ guns floating around in circulation. People tend to get shot. A lot.

FWIW, I own two revolvers. A .38 snubnose and a .22 single-action wheelgun that is a scaled down replica of a 1800's Colt cowboy gun. I feel that my family is protected from crackheads and burglars. I'm under no illusion that I need a machine gun to engage in prolonged firefights with rival militias or government troops.

- GalacticStone

Exhibit C.

Wrong. When I am in traffic seeing road rage or pumping gas out in rural Florida, I am worried about drunk young white redneck kids more than brown people. Take your racist cherry-picking of statistics somewhere else. But you do you I guess.

PS : go back and slowly re-read what you typed. It doesn't look or sound good, in addition to being flat out wrong.

Yes your anecdotal evidence sure is convincing...
You are correct on the second half. It doesn't matter if they're in America or not, they're much more violent.

Nice copy paste skills.

Nothing I said was wrong, but yeah the "religious cult" thing was a bit strong. I give you that.

My last response was to a blatantly racist post by a lurker who delurked just to drop it.

Dude, just stop. I know you are convinced there is nothing wrong with what you are saying, but it's coming across wrong at best.

Didn't you say JT could be moved?

And yet... he has a NMC too.

Not the same with Tavares because Tavares at 34 is worth a lot less than Marner at 27. Big difference in situations.

If Tavares leaves for nothing as a UFA, the team improves. If Marner leaves as a UFA, the team gets a lot worse.

- Rare_Jewel

That has nothing to do with refusing to waive though.

Try again.
