If we could add Crouse to compliment what Knies also brings then I'd be this summer
- Leafsmart

Especially if you get them to throw in their 6'7" D-prospect

(If they were still in Arizona, we could probably finagle their #6 over all too)

My first trip to BC was a fishing trip to Tofino a million years ago. It was crushed by bad weather. High winds, rain, low clouds. The entire trip was a waste. Couldn’t see anything. I hated BC that trip. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

29 straight days working outside doing two jobs in Squamish BC. Occasionally, the rain turned into a fine soaking mist instead of a hard steady torrent. That was nice.
Walking down the street on the last evening, the wind blew the clouds away and I was surrounded by purple glowing snow capped mountain peaks.
Was so beautiful, I stayed another year.

(frank)ing rained every other day.

I spend the entire 18 AAV we do have on bringing in tougher, more playoff sturdy players and improve the D. Bring in a cheap 1A to split time with Woll. Sign or acquire a bigger ticket goalie once Tavares' contract expires.

I move him to LW (like Stamkos) and hope you can squeeze enough offense out of him in his final run with Matthews and Marner. Put Domi at 2C with Nylander because they'd compliment each other pretty well. You can put Tavares at C occasionally for the FOs for situational reasons.

When Tavares' contract expires, you don't bring him back, not even at a discount. He's going to be 35, won't put up offensive numbers, can't skate all that great and defensively, not a strong bottom-six candidate.

And I'm serious, I wouldn't take him at even 5 AAV at 35+. I'd rather sign or acquire a player in his prime than trying to go back to that depleted well.

- Rare_Jewel

Tavares will be 34 years old when he signs his next contract, not 35.

As long as it goes triple overtime and they clobber each other, there are no losers.

BC is the best place for watching sports on TV isn’t it? You can even stay up for the 3rd period of NY-FLA. 😁
- Woderwick

I love NFL football at 10 am, but I hate that there’s no live sports after 10:30 pm.

You’re not incorrect but yes, he will be 35 when his next contract starts

That’s irrelevant.

He will be 34 when he signs it.

As per the CBA, it will not be a 35+ contract.

Canada is a horrible place to live. Moved out for a number of reasons. If someone offered me a mansion in SLC I’d be there in a heartbeat.

Infanticide is not a virtue. You all came from the womb. You’re a nasty hypocrite if you’re not pro-life.

If only the usual suspects would shut up for once and stick to hockey.

Most likely yes, unless he chooses to wait for it. He could technically do that.

To be clear he could be only 33 and be able to resign and that wouldn’t surprise me either lol

Rangers are losing almost every puck battle.
Panthers exit their end easily but Rangers struggle every time.

Hard to believe the game is tied.

I still want NY to win for some reason, and I don’t even know why lol

Definitely rather see NYR win. Can't stand Bennett.

Other side would be good to see McJesus playing for the Cup.

Everything is based on the age he was on July 1st before the start of the season. So if he signs in October ...it wouldn't matter.
