2 rumous today about Necas.
one in return for Matheson, and the 2nd for wifi and the 27th pick.
where there's smoke...

yeah, I don't find this necessarily applies to Hughes though, if I recall correctly there wasn't much "smoke" about the Dach trade before it happened, so as I was saying earlier I'm expecting something a bit more unexpected lol.

where are the rumors from exactly?

either way, they got Matheson for Petry, and wifi was never drafted.
if they can flip one or the other for Necas... job well done.

personally I'd rather keep Xhekaj and look elsewhere, we'll see what happens.

for sure, the fact that he wasn't drafted doesn't take away how much he's worth for the habs, if he can work on his flaws as I think he will, he's exactly the kind of guy you want in the playoffs, a tough AF mofo that can play.

sure, I was just talking asset management.
but if they want to add a top6 forward... it will take more than Harris and a 2nd.

i was not expecting dallas to just poop everywhere like this.

they'd be doing better with green pants.

that I'm aware of, but when I look at the habs lineup and prospects moving forward they don't really have an equivalent to replace him, and he fills a much-needed role in terms of a "modern-day goon" if you can describe it as such.

no it's not that. they really don't have anyone exciting to bet on. robertson to get a point is an okay bet but all their other players are hit or miss as far as counting on them so you find little things like heiskanen blocks or seguin shots on goal.

now the oilers have all kinds of players who you can sort of count on to add to a bet. like hyman has a point in 11 out of the 16 playoff games. the payout sucks as a single bet, but you can confidently add it to a parlay as a payout multiplier and feel okay about it.

interesting, when a majority of folks would probably agree that DAL is the more complete team, on paper at least (and before this series started lol).

i guess it's their depth. they spread out the stats so nobody has long streaks of a particular stat or a pattern that you notice.

10 shots on goal so far for the stars? jfc, have the oilers become a defensive juggernaut? (I haven't been paying all that much attention to the game lol..)

at one point seguin had 2.5 shots on goal or more in 9 of 10 games. i did notice that was happening and bet it until he cooled off. but he's been shooting it more again lately so that might be in a bet tonight..
