He clearly anticipated a drop pass that didn’t happen. Bad play. Move on. When you’re playing with an injury sometimes you do things you normally wouldn’t do. Trouba isn’t as bad as he was the end of the season and playoffs. Let’s wait and see next year before we launch him to the moon.

At a certain point, playing with a serious injury that hinders your performance is an act of selfishness that is actively hurting your own team

You speak (type) in a tone that is dismissive of other people's opinions and has a superiority complex. You also pick select words from people posts out of context, twist them and then combat a point that isn't being made while avoiding the true point of the post.

For instance, you never answered why you would want to start a rebuild when you don't trust the management that is in place to lead that rebuild. Wouldn't we be better off crossing our fingers and hoping one of these years that we can get past the ECF rather than hoping this management staff that is so inept in your eyes can make multiple trades, signings and draft picks to put together a team that is better than top 4 in the league?

- SkjeiStadium

Rebuild needs to start because playing like trash in front of you all world goalie hasn't doesn't, and mostly likely won't work. Rebuild. Get better, faster, more skilled.

Ok let's say I agree we need to rebuild (I don't). Do you trust this management to rebuild successfully through making good trades, signings and draft picks and then developing those draft picks into impact NHLers?

Do you not understand how rebuilds work? Nobody is gonna want meek Zibanejad, aging chris kreider, fraudulent panarin, lost Trouba. etc.

You normally trade assets of value. Big if true.

- blacksheep1

Yep trade Laf, a 23 year old instead of building around him for the next 10 plus years, makes sense

i don't see any scenario where laf gets that money for that term.

Laf probably gets 7 for 7

Dolan will never ever do a full rebuild. Loves selling tickets and driving revenue. They can get away with a retool regardless

I was comparing myself physically as someone on here said I probably look like his father.

Yeah I bet you have the physique similar to a professional athlete. I must be ignorant to think otherwise

Funny how you & Tom are the only two who have compared themselves to other men to a group of guys on a hockey forum. It's quite telling

We just did one

Winning doesn’t happen overnight. There’s pain involved before it happens. Right now our balls are in a vice, but relief isn’t very far. We’re close!

That was not a rebuild. Signing trouba and panarin and trading for fox does not count. I am talking about tanking for 5 straight years plus. Dolan will never do that

I don’t agree they did a full rebuild. It was partial at best, aided by a 1 and 2 overall pick that fell into their lap (even though the number 2 isn’t working out).

Man oh man, if they didnt and they went solely off of the drafts they had from 2017 to 2019 and no major signings, this would be one traumatic team to watch.

They even sent a letter out. Who does that? After Laf, the best prospect we have is still college.

The impatience right now is really off the chain man

We didn’t lose 4 straight by 5-0 scores. We lost one goal games and one in ot on a PP goal, with half the defense running on one leg. If we’re healthy and have all the ammo we need, we could beat whoever. We got dealt a bad hand last series.

The “rebuild” or whatever you want to call it, produced a team who finished first in the league and were 2 wins away from the finals, blow it up

If you think you either a) didn't suggest trading Laf and Shesty, or b) didn't criticize their drafting and player development, then you are proving my point that it's not worth talking to you because you aren't interested in a conversation.

You want to post memes and say " I was right" and cause a stir. Which is your right and I won't try to stop you from doing so but I'll stop engaging you and taking you seriously because you aren't a serious person

Stop engaging the troll that has been banned multiple times. Multiple account names. Why Jan has allowed him to stay is the real head scratcher. He is a Devils fan that simply is playing the long game trolling us over and over. It is refreshing to see that others are finally figuring him out too.

Dead. On. Balls. Accurate.

And now he has a Robin who is somehow respected when all he does scream into our eyeballs all day long.

If we had Chytil all year, where he is “normal” for the playoffs, he wasn’t. He was out there not the dynamic guy we saw at times, a healthy Fox, and a 3rd line who could score more…we’d be playing the Oilers

It isn’t a lot to ask for moving forward to winning it all still.

So a 1RW and a rebuilt 3rd line is all we need.
