I did not see it, but I have seen some reviews that is was not good. Essentially like one very long SNL skit? Not saying it was bad, just saying what I heard. Seems like it’s an acquired taste and you either love it or hate it.

If you don’t like Seinfeld you won’t like it. The cast is endless

Jim Gaffigan is a comedic genius. Just in general. He’s great in the movie tho

Why? For as much as I don’t like Drury, I think they’ve drafted ok the last few years.

Laf Schneider Cuylle Rempe Berard Othmann Sykora Perrault Fortescue Roobroeck.

That’s all in the last 4 years. Obviously some are givens (Laf) but they’ve nailed some of the other ones. (Rempe Cuylle)

Well he was responding to me in reference to the abbreviated rebuild saying if we hadnt signed who we did and relied on the drafts between 2017 and 2019 to restock the cubbord at the time… the days would be dark, real dark right now.

As far as rebuild and draft picks I’m not sure what else we can ask for. We don’t have room for everyone we have as it is.

Rempe
Othmann
Perrault
Sykora
Berard
Roobroeck
Edstrom

I may be forgetting guys. But we are in pretty good shape prospect wise. Could all stick in the NHL over time.

Defense is definitely something they should draft more of starting this year. I’m not very in the know who we have after Fortesque

It was a good season folks. I'm peaceing out because it's pretty much unreadable in here nowadays. I'll probably continue to check in and read Jan's blogs, and will of course follow the news over the summer.

Imo all of these little arguments are pointless if we have Zibanejad and Panarin as our top 2 money making scorers. They don't have the jam that you need from your stars and can't produce when the the playoffs get tight. You either got it or you don't, and we won't be winning a cup with peripheral roster moves while those two are (not) leading the way to a cup.

All. Repeating again, please try and be civil and for those poking the bear or being contrary, keep that civil point in mind.

Still figuring out my next steps. While that offers, please let me know what you u might want me to cover when/if I post a new blog. Usually it’s top 20-25 off-season questions. In past, I have also graded the players.

In terms of a mock draft, think it’s a little late for that, partially impacted by the Rangers season going to June 1. But let me know your view.

Most likely are right here. Unless they get a solid first line rw, improve the defense and bottom 6 that could push those two fwd.

And in past, Zadorov was criticized broadly. So it’s interesting how that view has changed

Zadarov had a good playoffs. He seems like the guy who gets overpaid this summer. Or one of them. Usually a few where you scratch your head

Half way through it and it's pretty good, much better than we expected. Saying that as a guy who isn't a Seinfeld fan.

PLD is JT Miller 2.0. You’ll see. He also plays a much more physical game than Zib and is 5 years younger. Has history with Panarin (centered him when they were in CB together).

I say trade Lindgren and sign Zadorov.

You watched time and time again during intermission Messier and some of the others talking about how you need to have a big, nasty, physical defense in order to have a long playoff run. Those hits time and time again from guys 6’2/6’3+ 220 lbs+ take their toll vs hits from 6’0 190 lb Lindgren. This isn’t a knock on Lindgren; he’s an absolute warrior and gives it his all out there, he’s just not big enough and we’ve already seen how many times he’s been injured.

Yes, that is good for my brand.

Let's get real crazy with this one.

Zib and Shesterkin for Dubois, Moore, Rittich and 1st round pick in 2025

He also has a history of not trying very hard, not playing defense and being problematic. Sounds like a great add.
And, Zibby will waive to go to Vancouver, why exactly?

Part of the vision. Tear it down to build it back up.
