So that’s a net increase of $500k against the cap. Who fills in as 3rd pairing RD?

An inexpensive RD, Colin Miller has been a popular one on ACGM

Anyway. I think ehlers might be a target. One year at $6m, underutilized in WPG, reportedly wants out. He’s listed as LW but pretty sure he plays both wings. Some cap retention would be needed

Don't try to convince yourself Trouba is waiving for Anaheim.

I brought him up the other day, Oliver Kylington. He plays both sides and he’s still young, he skates really well. He had a really good year in 21-22, then I think he may have had a serious injury for a couple years. But could be really cheap on a prove it deal, ala Gustafsson

Only 201 games so he’s definitely not a player with much wear and tear (which I think is important)

Im not sure Kylington will get a prove it deal from anyone. Pretty sure GMs know what hes capable of. There could be the possibility of a 1yr deal for slightly less than what he would normally make, but def not a league minimum type of deal.

I just gave him 1 yr for 1.5 on arm chair

What did he miss a whole year from? do you know? Illness or injury, drugs/booze/mental thing?

Here’s one that oughta get the flamethrowers at my skull

Trouba Kakko and a first for Marner

Trouba to the leafs would make some sense, but because it’s Canada maybe not. Berube type player, and they could actually really use Trouba in their top 4

Youre not fitting that contract here without dumping Chytil too. However, although he does produce, I dont know if he has the mentality of a guy who puts a team over the hump.

I’m gonna do an arm chair

Edit: Yea it’s little too much, but it’s not crazy far. Maybe they’d send Goodrow too

Just thinking about Trouba tho…I bet if he got traded to a “city” like Toronto, he’d approve a trade. Seemed like all he wants to have his a place for his wife to work in (city).

Even if they could fit marner hard pass. Another small soft perimeter player

You? Really? I traded Trouba not sure we can have the best of both worlds.

I do agree with you tho, he is a perimeter/on the softer side

I thought we were blowing everything up? Sending Trouba to Detroit, Zib to Vancouver, and Panarin and Kakko to the moon.
- banger94

Tony was sending Zib to Vancouver. I dont think Panarin will waive to go to the moon, its a bit too far although KK wont have a choice so call Musk and get a rocket ready!!!
