it does indeed look like wikipedia believes the michigan was first made at a food stand owned by a couple from michigan who were living in pennsylvania in 1927 and the first chicago style dog was 2 years later by a place called Fluky's (chicago area fast food joint, apparently). |

i loved gump worsley. i mean, i just read about him in library books growing up and stuff but he was one of my favorite names and sounded like he was a bit of a character. |

yup, I had a few goalie history books as a kid and he was usually part of them, considered as one of the early goaltending pioneers if you will. |
