Zem is hardly a fighter , although few guys can n the Sabres drop the gloves.

Don't care if he fights, he isn't good on the PK Either. Are PK has only been ranked once in the top 20 since he started doing it. Should have been gone 2 years ago. Better versions of Girgensons available.

Cost is likely prohibitive to grab Lindstrom at 5 - 7 and about the same For Yakemchuk... Maybe a spot or 2 later.

He's probably the safest forward outside of Macklin. I don think he'll fall very much if at all.

He’s a good skater with some speed
Sure he mops up the ice at times, as a direct result of effort plays
He also is a decent pk guy that blocks shots and puts his health on the line

Johnson was old and spent, Girgensons still has a handful of effective years ahead of him.

I don't know dawg, if you're right then he's my Reinhart. I absolutely despise his game and the way he plays, I don't consider him a legitimate NHL hockey player. I'd say he is bottom 10% in the league in terms of any talent he possesses and below replacement level in terms of passing. If we're going to move forward and be a competitive team, we need to rid ourselves of guys who can't carry or pass a puck. Eric Johnson was hyperbole, but to be completely honest, I don't think the results they produced would be much different.

Pretty much polar opposite career's. One will go down as a top role player in the game while never missing the playoffs, the other just goes down.

I admire zem’s commitment to the city and team.

He shows up and plays hockey without taking a shift off. Winning or losing , he’s all out effort.

He kinda sucks at times sure, but not by lack of effort. He really has stone hands , but consistently pops in 10 goals in a limited time and with subpar mates.

I’ve had season tickets and watched him probably play 200-250 games live.
