keep girgens for the 4th line even though his does not drop the gloves

get rid of krebs for the 4th line as he does not drop the gloves

Crazy to mention them together. The prize piece of the Eichel trade, a real C, young enough that he could improve.

I admire zem’s commitment to the city and team.

He shows up and plays hockey without taking a shift off. Winning or losing , he’s all out effort.

He kinda sucks at times sure, but not by lack of effort. He really has stone hands , but consistently pops in 10 goals in a limited time and with subpar mates.

KA knows he needs to make a change. He might wimp out. Soft GM.
- Lunaion

He’s not gonna wimp out lol

KA absolutely loves Girgensons

There’s only 1 guy who can talk him out of resigning 28.

Sorry they need to find someone who's tough enough that isn't a black hole on the ice for his 6 mins a night

Girgensons is a lock for next season, unless Lindy really doesn’t like him.

Krebs is replaceable as the 4th line not tough enough guy that fights imo

Robinson tries real hard too. Is there much of a difference between them?

well....28 can stop it completely, or KA can realize love isn't a good reason for a bad hockey decision, or he can defer to his staff (like most moves). Plenty of reasons he hasn't been extended yet.

I’d be suprised from everything I’ve heard.

Sabres would probably be at 2.5+ , so taking anything doesn’t seam likely

He didn’t extend until late June last season

There’s plenty of time. It’s a done deal imo

Hesitancy on both sides last summer. An abysmal season and a new coach certainly didn't help things.

I would never bet against the Sabres writing Gus a check

Zem is a below average nhl hockey player by most standards.

A team that lacks consistency could benefit greatly from resigning a team leader

what has he led us to, aside from lottery picks

serious question as this is not a team that missed the playoffs once in a while

He's led inconsistency for awhile already, how about we try someone who hasn't consistently lost in his career

I get this side of the Girgensons argument.

I’ve had season tickets and watched him probably play 200-250 games live.

I appreciate his effort I guess

- Boss34

I stand corrected, his effort is fine. He does try.

28 and 21 are great at leading you through losing seasons. Ton of experience with it.

Time to turn the page. KA knows it, even if it breaks his heart. He can talk to Beane for emotional support, he knows this is a business.

One of the best parts of Lindy is that he'll want his team to finish checks.
