pick 11 overall and 2 first round picked players for an underachieving 2nd liner and an aging 3rd line center
pass
I will take cam with cheddar retained for that 7th though - homiedclown
It's a 2025 1st and Farabee just came of a 50pt season. |

Going even further, I don't understand why we keep trading for Laughton when Farabee is definitely who we should actually be pursuing. - QuinnFan
Well atleast we aren't using our 2024 1st in this trade for Laughton |

5M for 4 years of a 50pt player ain't bad, is it? - QuinnFan
torts buried him on the 4th line at the end of the season
no on the pk
underwhelming pp numbers
an ok guy for the middle 6 but I doubt he would become the next tuch |

Don't get why the Flyer's are selling off...or at least the fans are.

Well sounds like Briere wants Hockey Trades, but also player's who fill a 2 to 3 year rebuild on the Go. |

that trade was krebs, kulich and a 1st for farabee and laughton, third liner
if making the trade for 1 top 6 guy, is farabee the guy or a guy?
I guess I am asking for more then competing for the 7th or 8th seed |

Sounds more reasonable. Trading for picks with Torts doesn't work. He doesn't have that kind of lifespan as a coach.

throw out torts time with the nucks and it was
7 years with bolts
5 years with rangers
6 years with blue jackets
I would rather have 6 years of torts then the crap we had for the last 11 or 12 years |

He hasn't hit the 6 year mark since TB and he isn't getting any younger. 2 years in now. Doesn't feel like rebuild time. They were better than Buffalo last year.

For Laughton and Farabee, I would think Kulich and Next year's First is probably closer. What is Krebs worth at this point ? |

The problem with Sabretooth is that the “Sabres” have been filed down.
Should just call him bucktooth. |

Said Konecny could be had in the right trade. Probably moves a few players while he tries to get better at the same time. Maybe they use one of those players and Florida's 1st rnd pick on someone for the know. |

It said the 2025 Sabres 1st when I clicked the link, not the 2024 1st.
Maybe it was changed. |

Also, the NHL allowed an expansion team to use Buffalo's colors and mascot so the team has unfortunately had to make him stand out from his doppelgänger for almost 30 years. |

Pageau a buyout candidate...
https://www.dailyfaceoff....tes-in-2024-nhl-offseason
5. Jean-Gabriel Pageau
Center, New York Islanders
Age: 31
Contract: 2 years remaining, $5 million AAV
Buyout Structure: 4 seasons varying from $1.25 mil to $2.75 mil
Scoop: Given what we can see from Lou Lamoriello’s playbook last summer, Pageau is much more likely to be a Trade Target than a buyout candidate. Though, the Isles belong in “Only God and Lou Know” territory, and it can’t be ruled out. Perhaps the Islanders, still in desperate need of cap flexibility, are better off keeping their recently acquired second-round capital and hoping to restock their prospect cupboard. If that’s the case, then a buyout is possible, which would create $2.75 million in cap savings next season alone.
Or, the Islanders can include a second-round pick and package Pageau up to get him off the books totally. Right now, he seems like the most likely to be on the move to make things happen. |
